Hi there! Right at about the 20:40 mark you can see a little crack in the wall that we blow up to reveal the platform the chest is on containing the hammer. A few minutes prior to that are the events leading to being able to get the hammer including the bosses key needed to open the chest. Hope you enjoyed the video!

We were curious if there were other endings to the game, so thanks for letting us know you think we got the good ending. It's good that it worked out that way and nothing worse. I dunno if Jason could handle worse lol

@@ImbecilesPlayGames​ I am pretty sure all of the endings are actually good endings! Weirdly enough while all the dreams are nightmares, every single one of them also gives them a new perspective on themselves with how others view them and likely leads to them growing as a person. Of course they are still heavily flawed in a lot of ways but it all leads to progress and are generally all “good endings”. Spoilers below for what i think of each ending btw. You can come back to read this after you’ve done the rest. All the dreams are bad but when the MC wakes up they cry, showing how they know the dream is bad. That in itself is progress, as if their dreams represents aspects of their real life, and they are bad, and they feel bad about it when they wake up, then they’ve realized it’s bad and completed the first step of realizing the issue so that they can fix it. Additionally they also look up at the thing they fear most. This first ending that you got is mostly related how they view their created friend. This generally would lead to them listening to you more and having a more normal life. I already mostly explained this in the main comment. The second ending with the dark room, door and fields relates to how others view their way of “reaching out for help” and how others would view them doing it. They’re very desperate when they’re the one reaching out for help, eventually pushing the help itself away (the door) while when they change perspectives they get to see the same type of person and are scared of them, unable to work out their cries of help in their desperation. Hopefully they’ll be able to get help rightly without pushing others away since they now realize how they were pushing people wanting to help away even when they were trying to ask for it. The third with the same day over and over is talking about their monotone life, staying in the same house over and over. This one is simple enough with them just repeating the same time and clearly not being happy about it after she wakes up. She’ll at least try something new and try to change her life with this. The fourth is the giant abyss with the pillar and stairs and a lot more detailed than the rest of the endings. The pillar represents the vastness of their whole world they live in, the jobs people etc etc. The infinite void represents the meaninglessness of it all and the stairs represent progressing through life. The girl’s comment on the stair abruptly breaking off likely means a early death. The first line by the what (yes I’ll refer to it as the what I don’t know what else to refer it as) is something am not sure of at all for what it means. The giant other pillars with all the stairs are the lives of other people, all like them. With people going up and down. The second line by the what is hope, at the end of the giant path in life there’s *someone* who’s happy, and the world that makes person happy both exists for them, and exists and doesn’t exist in bits for the girl. With what showing hope to them, they can’t stop themselves and they can’t stay still. So instead they move, progress in life, either way is still progress but they must try to reach the world where someone is happy now that they’ve seen it. The third line by the what is a description of the start of a opera called wozzeck. Which is in German. I don’t know German. I’ll just take the wiki’s word on it and say it’s something about the world and psychological issues. The rest of the lines by the what sounds like them going to a actual therapist, which well, great! After that they walk down the stairs and they get more and more lines from the therapist. So going down was getting actual professional help. However it’s also clear that they feel less like “themselves” and more that they are being pushed by hope into it. The final ending relates to them accepting that even if they’re alone, living in their own world made of their own thoughts won’t help them. It’s intentionally told through text messages cause for most you usually go online to disassociate from the world. The pizza deal also keeps getting better but the girl keeps getting stuck in her own mind, and when she realizes she already is about to get hit by a train. Even if she thinks she shouldn’t care that their created world is neither good or bad, they still do care. They said they shouldn’t care, not that they don’t care after all. They might not know why but they’ll try to live in the real world instead after this and they won’t delay it.

Thank you! That is actually a function of the game. The game is showing us the living world and sort-of spirit world side by side. It was a neat feature through the game.

@@EliteParadox It varies from video to video. When we decide to do a playthrough, like Link to the Past here, we try to keep cuts to a minimum, so viewers can experience most of the game. Usually we cut when there's not much discussion though. Other games, where we aren't story-focused, we'll cut out parts where we aren't talking or funny. Jason is the easiest laugh and does most of the editing, so he ultimately decides what stays in. In the end we just do it for laughs and hope others get a laugh too.
