LA 카운티는 최종 LA 강 마스터 플랜을 발표했습니다.
로스앤젤레스 카운티 감독위원회(Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors)는 51마일 강을 따라 형평성, 접근성 및 기반 시설 개선을 위한 프레임워크로 고려 및 채택합니다.
새로운 마스터 플랜은 LA 강의 51마일 전체를 아우르는 유일한 플랜입니다. 주요 기반 시설 개선, 공원 접근 및 강변의 수자원을 우선시하면서 마스터 플랜은 기후 불안정을 목표로 하고, 생물 다양성 손실을 해결하고, COVID-19 복구를 지원하고, 주택 부족을 완화하고, 주택 구입 가능성을 유지합니다. 마스터 플랜은 캐노가 파크에서 롱비치까지 강의 포괄적인 비전을 개발하기 위해 LA 시의 로스앤젤레스 강 재활성화 마스터 플랜, Lower LA 강 재활성화 계획에 대한 주의 작업 및 144개의 기타 지역 계획 문서를 기반으로 합니다.
일단 채택되면 마스터 플랜은 LA 카운티의 환경 및 커뮤니티 건강을 지원하기 위한 커뮤니티 참여 노력과 최신 연구 및 기술 데이터를 결합하여 강을 따라 공평한 커뮤니티 주도 프로젝트를 위한 도구 키트 역할을 할 것입니다. 마스터 플랜은 강 주변 지역 사회의 특정 요구 사항을 충족하면서 강을 따라 프로젝트에 대한 자금 조달 기회를 개선할 것입니다.

You humans need to build locks in the watershed channel in l a on them all to collect the rain water nearby 25B gallons per Ave rainfall- a hundred billion gallons of water per year

It's great to know there is a plan. But can this be brought down to earth with easy to figure out updates on what projects are done now and can be utilized? Or will be done soon? Honestly, parks all along the river is one of the greatest ideas since the bike path along the Santa Monica bay. We need this faster. Other cities like Atlanta have managed to quickly put projects in place like their Belt Line. Why can't L.A. do the same. We desperately need more recreation space in this car ridden city. We want the project completed or at least large, usable portions done before we are all dead. Go LA River!!!
