I dont understand. This is not the film by richard elfman from 1979 wirh the same title. How do you get to name a film with the title of an already existing film? The original film even contains some stop motion animation as well. I find this to have been lazy and confusing.

Wooow it's so cool to see how you built this from scratch! Aren't projectors magical? Side thought, I wonder if using a Cricut to cut out the shape and then use that as a stencil could work for spraypainting surfaces in the future. I have one, we can talk if you're interested! Gonna assume that this is about the power of faith, because nothing else would explain that "a giant rock just smushed my feet and ancles, but I'll just soldier on with the help of an old dry stick" moment. Animation is absolutely great, but at that point, suspense is gone. Doesn't matter if a volcano errupts, he'll make it in the end. (Admittedly, my suspension of disbelief was already a bit battered by the toxic fog which doesn't harm your eyes in any way, but okay, it might be a component that damages specifically your lungs.)

Everything about this, the lighting, the debris falling, crumbling and kicking up dust, the lovely score and emotion are all stellar. Even the fact that there's no dialogue make this a true work of art. I was touched by the message and it was a good reminder to us all that unconditional love/kindness is always repaid in kind.
