    Hey, could you explain the solving of arc CE. Measurement of arc is calculated by the fraction of the central angle over 360 and then multiply by the circumference. In this case, should it be (134.8/360) x pi x 2r = 26pi x 134.8/360 = 30.6?

    Algebros, I need your thoughts. Does AP PreCalculus prepare students for AP Calc? For a senior, should they take AP Calc AB or BC after this class? Lastly, have you ever considered making an AP stats course on your website?

    • @Bissell22
      @Bissell22 Před 12 dny

      AB is calc 1 and BC is calc 2 and you take AB before BC. BC builds upon AB, further continuing integration techniques, dealing with parametric functions, polar coordinates etc. and most importantly, series just to name a few. These things require a strong foundation of Calc 1.

    • @TUNA_464
      @TUNA_464 Před 10 dny

      A lot of school actually don’t let you take both, people go straight into BC and also do really good, actually most schools do this

    • @TheAlgebros
      @TheAlgebros Před 28 dny

      That is true, but on the AP Exam, you are not required to know the double-angle (or half-angle) formulas for trigonometry. This type of problem would be a multiple choice problem, so while you are simplifying it, you would see the answer choice during your process.

  • @kaitierose2965
    @kaitierose2965 Před měsícem

    13:25 wouldn't this function be an odd degree function because (x-3)^3 has the highest power? also doesn't having an odd number of zeroes mean the function is an odd degree function?

    • @TheAlgebros
      @TheAlgebros Před měsícem

      You have to think about multiplying out all of those factors. Eventually, you would have x^2 * x^3 * x = x^6. That's why the degree is 6 for that problem.
