Alice had a minnie pony that was wonderful, but he couldn't keep up with our big horses. We sold Oreo, and bought Tonto for Alice. Here is a collection of video taken on the cow drives that happened through this past late fall & winter. Curt figured it up & he calculates Alice has driven cattle at least 150 miles this year. On this last one in January she was the only help I had in the back & I don't know what I would have done without her!

We are looking forward to raising some of these super good ponies for other kids. The filly she has from this year is so easy to get along with, she can set on her back already!

Hi Kit! Thank you for watching Pete's video. We have 2 blue roans and a buckskin (1- 5yr old 2- 6yrs old) That are broke and gentle enough for Alice to trail ride on. We either raised or have had them from babies & have done all of the training on them. We plan to offer them as spring opens up. Unfortunately, I cannot buy this lil gem! But, I so enjoyed this video so much i cried! What an absolute joy watching Oreo and this child. And, the knowledge this child has of horsemanship at such a young age! In my opinion, every kid on the planet would benefit from this kind of upbringing!

Kentucky Heartbreak!! we love our horses!!! This breaks our hearts, when the decision was made to sell OREO in June of this year (2020) Nelson Ranch was chosen out of the massive amount of interested buyers, you won out with the thought of your little girls age and Oreo's age, that Oreo would have a forever home with a loving little girl, Oreo left our family in Kentucky in July of this year , we were soooo happy that he was going to have that forever home, he is a very special pony and we would like to be kept in the loop on his next journey. We are praying that you will think of Oreo, appreciate how he has helped your family out in such a short time and not just sell him to the highest bidder!! Love ya OREO!!!
