One time my brakes failed on my SUV. I pulled into a Walmart parking lot as it happened and tried to stop in a parking space not realizing my brakes were covered in axle grease causing them to fail. Went through two lanes of parking before I pulled the handbrake. In one of the driving rows I almost slammed into the side of a moving car. I apologized and this lady continued to follow me around the store and yell at me as I bought a jack to see what exactly failed. She was still yelling at me as I was loading the damn thing thing on a trailer to get it home. Some people are just too stupid to understand that sometimes shit just happens. I never hit her car and I never got aggressive with her. There's also the factor that this happened at Walmart but a year later I'm still baffled by how she was comfortable making a seen for 3 hours while being largely ignored
