Totally agree with Robin B below. After playing super passing football for the last two thirds of the season I can’t understand why we smashed everything in the air towards their huge centre back . I thought Simmo would get at them at ht , tell em to relax and get the ball down but nothing changed . The worst culprit was the keeper , no attempt to throw the ball out or play it short . If Grey had played we would have won that match . Such a pity.

Braintree should of being put in the conf north but due to fa corruption and jobs for the boys they stitched Stortford right up Braintree is 2 miles further north on the map than Stortford so Braintree what goes around comes around why should Stortford always pay the price you know why corruption

Terrible tactics to keep hoffing the ball in the air City. We've been beaten, because we didn't keep the ball on the ground and we were too negative in that first half in particular, should have pushed them back. We've been beaten by a team that are not that good, as all the chances we created in the second half showed. As for Robbie saying we were tired after ninety minutes, that is nonsense. Braintree should have been more tired, with us having more time to rest than them, since we both last played. Whether bad tactics, over confidence, or both, unless we win the league, we will never get in the Nationwide league. Our failures in play off games, is all too predictable. Do city even want to go up, because the way we played especially in the first half today, looked like we were not bothered.

Needing an emergency keeper going into the most important game of the season speaks volumes for the lack of ambition at City. Its vital to have a regular goal keeper signed on for whole season.
