I love watching these videos cause for some reason it reminds me of how I got myself into danmei. Like, me and my friend had a list of anime we wanted to watch for a sleepover and Heaven Officials Blessing was on that list. We watched it first and we thought it was AMAZING! I just couldn’t read it fast enough since we were on Netflix. So, I didn’t watch any other episodes besides that but my friend did! She asked if we could check if it was on Crunchyroll AND IT WAS! I didn’t know there was and English dub so I watched it in English since my friend said it was really good. So I watched it, LOVED IT! then, since season two was still coming out with season 2, we watched it together. After that finished, my friend said there was a BOOK! I wasn’t planning on reading the book since I was already reading a ton of manga. But, my other friend offered some money for a necklace I had, and I asked for a $20 so I could get the book since I was bored and I was willing to give it a try. I got in February of 2024, finished it in a few weeks AND WAS OBSESSED!! But yeah, that’s how I got into danmei🤪I love telling this story to people cause it makes me laugh when I’m talking about it

I don't like it. It sounds unnatural and forced. First time I heard it, I cringed and thought of Scar in Lion King. This is not how I imagine Hua Cheng's English voice. I imagine something like Richard Armitage's voice. The Junwu English VA sounds so much better though.
