@@sharonarmstrong4578 I would depend on what you have available. This one was the length of the vinyl plus a little more, so two different lengths

What type of fabric are you using for the strap topper and other dark pink fabrics?
@ufoquilter86 the Pink is Buttah vinyl from Weft + Warp. The front floral panel is a canvas

Yes
What kind of fabric are you using for the patterned fabric for the outside and is it stabilized?
It is a quilted cotton, stabilized with woven and then decovil light out of the seam allowance. The gusset and back is vinyl, I don't believe I interfaced those

I feel so lost with all of the different types of fabric that are possible! I have my MAV pack pattern and I would love to start it, but I am still lost with what types of stabilizer I should use with each fabric I choose so that was very helpful. Thank you.

Couldn't you make the handles shorter if they want a cross body to use as a grab handles and not to necessarily to carry....that way they won't get in the way.??
@mimzyriepensell1423 absolutely! With the Long John's they fall to the side, so it isn't really an issue, but for sewn in that's a great idea!

Hello Leslie, I just found you on CZcams the other day. It was your video making the zip an go bag. I loved it!! I followed the link in the description and purchased the pattern. But,, I noticed when I printed it , it is in French? , or some other language? I am currently watching your video of you cutting it out that you posted a year ago. I thought maybe that might give me an idea of what is what on the pattern. I guess I will have to use a translator to figure out what piece is what. Was the pattern in a foreign language when you got it? Just wondering if you initially had the same issue? Glad I found your channel!! Can’t wait to see some of your other makes! Hi Leslie! What is the measurement for your hidden steak connectors? My straps will be 3/4" finished size. So I'm assuming they'll be 1.5 inches wide but not sure how long I should make them... Thanks!!!
In the final construction of the bag when pinning it all together…how do you position the tabs when pinning? Do you bend them towards lining or the purse. Does this make sense?
Which tabs? I am unsure which part you're are referring to. Everything should lay naturally together

The tabs seem like they want to fold
When you line up the seams the tabs should fold towards the exterior the seam allowance towards the lining

Loving the bag and a great tutorial. I've been asked to make this bag but the friend has asked for a grab handle on the top of the flap. Can you advise what length for the handle and placement. Thanks.
I cannot off the top of my head since I haven't made it with that modification, but I would recommend using turn locks instead of magnets to prevent it from pulling open when using the handle. Hope that helps!

I left the seam allowance the same, I typically don't change it when I increase or decrease a pattern
