Minn Kota says on their site not to run the brushed motors at max on lithium. With the newer Quest, it is ok. I just switched over to a Quest and run 3 x 100ah lithiums. Since I never run my trolling motor batteries down but my FLA house/cranking battery struggles, I now use one of the lithiums for a dedicated house battery and the other two for my Quest since it can run on 24 or 36v. I run a similar boat, ZX225, and there is no lack of power even on 24v. From Minn Kota: QUEST Motors QUEST series trolling motors will operate with any deep cycle marine 12, 24, or 36-volt battery/batteries and have been optimized for use with LiFePO4 Lithium Ion battery cells. Lithium Ion batteries maintain higher voltages for more extended periods than lead-acid batteries and will provide the best performance in powering the trolling motor. Brushed Motors Lithium Batteries maintain higher voltages for longer. Motors engineered to make the most of flooded lead acid batteries can be damaged by the higher power output. To prevent this damage when using Lithium batteries you should not run your motor at its highest speeds, staying at 85% Speed 8.5 or lower.

Well look on the bright side, we have a freshly rebuilt trolling motor for upcoming tournaments. Enjoybot has them a good ambassador for their products.

I run 2 100ah ionic wired for 24v. They outfish me trolling for crappie. Wish would made the switch sooner.

Installed 3 of the 100 amp TM battery's in mine a few months back. Will never go back to lead acid again. Biggest thing is for me. I can move these, was getting where I had to wait for someone. To move the lead acid group 31's. Also have a 100 amp on the electronics.

Ive heard the VT2 livewell ventilation system let's fresh air in your LW also keeps water temps down and let's gases out ... I've heard by many even the Alabama state champion Shiloh shoppell says he uses one said they work great I don't have it on my boat I just leave my LW lid open my LW is really deep i haven't had a fish jump out yet LOL it does keep all the gasses out though... great vid good info sarge 👊

Power Bubbles 12v aerator pump with two outputs (one for each side of livewell). Clips onto trolling or starting battery. No need for disposable batteries. (Credit Clay Gann). I don’t recirculate. Just keep the bubbles going and keep it cool and use G juice.
