I read the first 4 trades then I bought the compendium then I traded it for the hardcovers but never got around to finishing the series I got to get back to it

This had great writing and great art. A more logical rationale to why the Riddler did what he did in the very beginning would have made for a much better story arc I think. That was my only real issue. Plus I think Riddler would have faced a little more retribution a lot sooner than he did, based on the people he affected. All in all a good book.

What's with all of the dislikes lol. This movie, Justice League: Warworld, and Justice League Dark: Apokolips just suck in a really sad and disappointing way.

I just bought this Deluxe two weeks ago & read it recently. This was a good Superman arc, but for me personally, this would've been a better JLA arc like what Kurt Busiek was originally planning. I think the execution felt a bit wonky (probably because I heard that delays were prevalent & Geoff Johns was also writing Superman at the time).

Couldn't agree more. DC is being very inconsistent. And why is it people have a problem with sex but it's okay to see violence? Weird. It's Black Label, right?

I just finished volume 1 soon to get volume 2. Im getting a little confused with the timelines though. At the end we see doom in latveria. Is this entire new avengers story in volume 1 happening before the avengers we see with ex nihlo at the beginning of the book? Thanks

2:00 Lonely Place of Dying is Tim and it was excluded from this for some reason, the only big omission IMO (I can take or leave Steph's origin, also excluded). The Giant issues show Tim adjust to Robin, go on his second+ mission, and get his costume. Tim is my favorite and I'm excited to ro get my Compendium One soon. Good overview btw!

Hey, I’ve been wanting to read the Knightfall Saga and Was wondering If it’s better to get the 2012 TPB (New Edition) or If it Would be better to collect the 25th Anniversary Editions. Can you also comment on paper quality for the 25th edition since i’ve firsthand seen how trash the TPBs are.

I love these egg n dunk graphic novels based on Martin's brilliant novellas. Had them some years and reread them many times. Very worried about Martin's Of ice and fire graphic novels as it's been an age since a clash of kings... There's 4 hardback graphic novels covering a game of thrones and 4 of the same covering a clash of kings the 2nd novel. A storm of swords is the third novel and ( even though they're all great )it's my favourite novel in the series. It's been 2-3 years now and no graphic novel adaptation? So frustrating. Are they waiting on artists to carry it on? Did they cancel the comics as they weren't selling well? I find that hard to believe... Before they stopped coming there was one hardback graphic novel per year and 4 of them make one novel. It's mystifyingly as them graphic novels I've mentioned covering the first 2 novels are fantastic.

As is tradition, I leave the theater and immediately watch your review. Agree with all of your points. The fight in front of the 20th Century Fox sign made me laugh. Kevin, Sidney and I lost our minds when we saw Captain America. We popped at Blade as well. Wolverine stole the show. He’s ripped. I am happy that they kept it out of Marvel because honestly that universe sucks now and nobody cares anymore. It literally took place in Ant Man’s corpse. LOL Agreed on the “samey” action too. Still fun. I’m a huge fan of his ultra violence and it worked well. Remained 100% unspoiled. Had absolutely no idea about anything. Maybe that helped. Sid and Kevin knew a lot.

Wow I never read a few of these issues. I read this series in OHC a good decade and a half ago. Very much enjoyed it. Each story felt like a big movie. Great run down memory lane looking at this. I might have to pick this book up. Great overview, as always.

I loved the character of silver surfer in the FF2 movie actor did a great job . Comic accurate Wolverine was funny

So they did make a movie based on this book! It was called Underwater. It was a pretty cool adaptation.

I can remember reading this a couple of years ago and initially I was very excited given dd is rarely used in these big event comics but you were absolutely right in what you said about it and it’s a pretty forgettable overall.

I've only read the first hardcover of the Ennis punisher max & really enjoyed it . I wish they had big trades like that of the 90s punisher war journal run

I really enjoyed it for the most part I just wish that the fight between batman and killer croc was a bit better and the ending was executed a bit better.

While I prefer Ennis’ Max run on Frank, I love this one too. I personally believe the ‘King of Killers’ stuff Aaron did recently was just a less effective and toned down version of the same concepts Aaron used here and much prefer this end to the character

Punisher Max is such a mixed bag for me. I dislike how adverse it is to featuring the wider Marvel world, but on the other hand characters like Frank or Kingpin are written amazingly well. But then, even with the writing, the art is often poor and the levels of violence at times seem to make it cross over into parody territory.

Do both of these cover the complete story of red hulk? And if so is there more complete collection issues after these 2?

I own both book 1 & 2 of Blue Beetle Jaime Reyes and I love both of them but I want to know when book 3 is coming.

I love this run of Blue Beetle because it is like DC'S Spider-Man only with modern settings and without him losing his family which is unusual.

Titan is that guys name, not block or stone. Also it does include spinoff issues it has a summer special and the allen the alien issue. how are you going to make a video covering this when you’re clueless on the subject?!

came to see if this was a good version of the book to get - kind of disappointed that you rattled off a bunch of big story moments that didn't seem very necessary to the point of the video. can't watch the rest because don't want to get every surprise or twist spoiled before even getting the book.
