So two things about Faust: Firstly, his attack where he jams his fingers into [redacted] and his face surgery Insta-Kill have varitions for each character if you can find them on CZcams. The first attack is "Stimulating Fists of Annihilation" and that has the most reactions since each character has up to 3 reactions and a unique face for comedic effect. As for the drastic change from Xrd to -Strive-, Faust stops Delilah (the Bedman from -Strive- from causing a massive crisis via a destructive sphere of energy surrounding her via a magic door made by his magic, but afterwards due to the massive amount of energy used, Faust was drastically changed into the "zombie-looking" Faust in -Strive-.

@12:35 Predicting the future is difficult in Warhammer even for the Emperor. He can see big events, but not always the context or the path leading up to it. Also, there's always the risk of whatever vision he has of the future is a trick by Tzeentch, the literal Chaos God of Magic and Fate. There is a theory that the Emperor WANTED the Horus Heresy, but on different terms. That he treated some of the Primarchs poorly to deliberately encourage rivalry and infighting. The plan was the Primarch Civil War would have weakened the Legions and the remnants would be swept aside by the Custodes and the Imperial Army, sort of like what happened to the Thunder Warriors. He did not want Chaos to be involved though. The Short Story "Malcador, First Lord of the Imperium" heavily hints this, but the ending leaves the theory fairly open to interpretation on how much the Emperor actually planned: either the Emperor arranged for the Heresy but Chaos has ruined everything or the Emperor didn't arrange jack and Chaos has ruined everything.

To give some context to the whole Custodes/Thunder Warrior/Astartes spectrum. The custodes were the first and are the most advanced form, the earliest accounts of the emperor describe him being accompanied by giant warriors clad in golden armor. The custodes were the emperors first creation in terms of gene enhanced warriors and they are by far the most advanced and subtle version, to make one requires a subject in infancy and a lifetime of the most subtle genetic manipulation at the cellular level combined with physical conditioning, training and the finest education possible. Each one is a hand crafted individual and unique creation with the human form as the base material crafted by whole teams of the finest minds available with the most advanced knowledge and techniques possible. The problem is that each and every custodian requires and absolutely astronomical amount of effort to create, during the unification wars there probably weren't even a hundred of them, even at the height of the crusade when there were millions of space marines and the emperor had the resources of the entire galaxy at his disposal they never managed to make more than ten thousand custodes. Which is why the thunder warriors were created, where a custodian is a scalpel whose blade is ground from the rarest obsidian, who's handle is a work of art by itself, whose creators are the finest artisan scientists of an entire world, a thunder warrior is a wrought iron sledgehammer, whose head was beaten from the cruddest iron and whose handle is rough hewn from strong but notably cheap lumber. A thunder warrior requires no genius to create, and only the cruddest and most brutal human material to mold. The technicians who oversaw their creation were trained well, but ultimately nothing special, no more than common lab techs to us today overseeing proceedures they didn't need to really understand because they were not refined in any way. The thunder warriors were thugs with unstable supercharged augmentations not meant to last and not meant to live for very long. They were a crude tool for a brutal task without a future, there was no place for them in the galaxy the emperor was planning. This brings us to the Astartes, the astartes are the final creation, they're meant to be the balance between the good and the bad and to incorporate all the techniques and lessons the emperor learned in the creation of and the use of the first two. Space marines first and foremost are capable of self propagation, they produce the raw material needed to create more of themselves in their gene seed, while thunder warriors are bigger and stronger, space marines are stable both physically and mentally, meanwhile while custodes are both stronger and mentally more capable than astartes they cannot be produced in the numbers necessary to conquer and hold a galaxy. The thunder warriors were easy to make but too crude, the custodes were practically perfect but too expensive to create in the necessary numbers, the Astartes are the middle ground; good enough for the job, and the Emperor could actually create enough of them to actually do the job.

Oh, for anyone curious about the monkeys: Inquisitors are permitted to have Jokaero in their retinue. Jokaero are monkeys that mysteriously have the ability to make incredible technology, seemingly by complete instinct. They're almost certainly a creation of the Old Ones, much like the Orks who have a very similar ability.

A side note: inquisitorial ranks past Inquisitor, such as Lord Inquisitor, are not strictly speaking part of a formal hierarchy. Rather, it's a sign of seniority and respect, since several other inquisitors have to come together and agree that you deserve to be called Lord Inquisitor.

As far as I'm aware, the Sensei were a thing, and were part of a group claiming to be the actual illuminati. Nowadays, I'm pretty sure theyre officially a heretical branch of the inquisition that got found out and purged.

The Sensei’s are semi canon. It’s complicated and a little confusing. Several writers have made and hinted to their existence but GW doesn’t want them to be canon. However the damage is done and now their in this weird gray area where they do exist but they don’t want to expand on them.

Do keep in mind that by today standards, the TTS series is quite dated and shouldn't be taken as gospel. As I recall, the "Emperor has a partner for the Primach project" is a newer lore that was published after TTS was made.

The part where Psychers started popping up and witch hunts happened is another bitter irony to the Emperor's philosophy of a secular government. The progressive and forward-thinking worlds where Psychers were accepted as members of society were annihilated when they started exploding into Daemon Portals. Meanwhile, the religious and superstitious worlds where people form lynch mobs and witch hunts to kill off Psychers managed to survive that turbulent time since Daemons don't have a foothold on their worlds. And of course, there is the fact that faith in the Emperor is what keeps the Imperium from falling apart these 10 thousand years.

Its both, Erda - the mother - lowered the protective wards shielding the gestation pods of the Primarchs and opened a portal to the warp, allowing the Chaos Gods to spread them out across the galaxy. No one knows how much of a massive asshole the Emperor is unless you read a tonne of lore. Erda was with him since he was a young adult in Anatolia, his oldest companion outside of John Grammaticus and Malcador among other perpetuals. The Emperor made the Primarchs only because so many perpetuals left him due to his sheer arrogance and uncompromising certainty was always steamrolling over them. The Emperor forbade Erda from having *any* influence or involvement in their development. This was a betrayal unlike any other before - she was someone who was with him since the beginning, they knew each other more than anyone else amd were closer than even Malcador and John Grammaticus was. Even after 40,000 years as companions who trusted each other, Erda realised that she wasnt even a piece on his board anymore. 40,000 years of your identity wrapped up in this idea that you were a special companion to someone, and realising that you were just a tool for their ultimate goals, and he maintained an illusion of closeness and dropped it the moment it was inconvenient. If *that* is what the Primarch's can expect from a Father figure, she honestly believed scattering them to the Warp was the best thing to do. Like, this is the worst outcome for any parent or children in divorces...ever. Most of your life dedicated to one person and many children, your partner says, "Well, I am bored. Lets get a divorce, oh and I used my connections to guarantee that will never see or hear from my kids ever again, and reatraining order declaring you arent even allowed in the same county as me or any of them." Whats even worse, she kidnapped them and kicked them out the car doors going 150mph and hoping they are found by someone half decent. Sorry Konrad, Fulgrim, Angron, Lorgar, Perturabo, Magnus and Mortarion, because your mother is the reason you have issues.

The whole “murder cult religion” thing isn’t why emps banned religion. But it is why almost all humans abhor and hate witches in 40k. Basically anyone who didn’t take up the “burn the witch” mindset probably didn’t survive the age of strife.

The entire process of becoming a space marine has a super low chance of success. But that’s the cumulative effect of dozens of super dangerous surgeries, incredibly brutal training and testing to ween out anyone who isn’t top 0.001% tough. And an extensive period as a neophyte in which you fight on the battlefield but aren’t a full marine yet. I don’t think that any one particular surgery has a crazy high failure rate. But it is not uncommon for neophytes to drop dead due to their body rejecting some extra organ or something.

I think a lot of this is old lore and has been retconned but for what it was, it's very fun

Second comment Dizzy is OP but other characters are leaves above her. Such as Slayer, Sol (when he is not nerfing himself) Axl low, Potemkin's Boss Gabriel Who is Slayers Rival in lore. Dizzy is up there in power but other characters are more Insane power wise.

Faust's Lore is dark. Even in strive. He is a tortured soul. Filled with so much self hate. Its sad. His design only changes when a pivotal moment in his life happens. In Guilty Gear 1 is THE ONLY GAME you ever truly see his face and know his reall name. Its Dr.Baldhead (yes lol) He went insane after a failed operation on a little girl and she died. It drove him into madness and made him become a serial killer. He was captured and finally arrested. A character named Testament Broke him out of prison and gave him back his weapon (the massive scalpel) During the tournament he was in he was later confronted by the Ghost of the Little girl he tried to save and she told him it wasn't his fault that she died. Hearing that helped him go on a better path. He vanished into the night to never be seen again. Thats the day When Faust was Born in the nexr game his fighting style got a face list and changed his name. He is on a journey of redemption and trying to give back to the world he onced hurt during his time as Baldhead. He heals/Cures people of all types od illness. He is genuinely the best at what he does. He helped Ky and Dizzy Deliver Their son Sin in secret. He healed a character named Zappa who was Haunted by a shit ton of Ghost ect. Like your friend said hes a good guy. He tried to do good. In the older games when he talks to I-no who was a Boss at the time. He confesses to her about his dark side (the dialogue still hits me hard) But he constantly tries to fight the urge to hurt other people and enjoys healing people. Ever since that incident when he was trying to kill that girl. Has changed them. (I the games actually do dive into that lore even more so if you wanna see hi journey up to strive...please do so. He is a tragic character and its amazing) I can tell you his entier plot but I don't wanna write a novel XD.

Faust actually was portrayed as a bit more creepy in the story and art of the sprite era games (but still goofy) and Xrd then just went full goofy, but with hints of creepyness still (for example his getting up animation at 9:02 has him rise like a mummy or vampire or smth) Strive then goes for a more creepy look, while many of his animations show je's actually still sweet and gentle (perhaps even more so than before)

Answer (business ninja) and Chipp (other ninja) actually work together, Chipp even trained Answer, so thats how that works out
