Night vs Day - Which Fishing Session is BEST?
A solo trip with two sessions, one night and the next morning, in the exact same location to see which fares best - a night run or day session. After a night run with some good hook ups, I was prepared to pack it all in. But after a light sleep, I came back out to try again and see what the morning would hold. #landbasedfishing #night #day

After a crazy week we aim to head out again with Jack from @rush.gang.fishing and see if we can have another great adventure. My casting reel chucked a wobbly so I was down to one rod only with dusk quickly approaching. Can we catch another great species from the sand? #dhufish #landbasedfishing #unbelievable

One of the best sessions so far out with @rush.gang.fishing for a Casting and Droning #landbasedfishing Session with some incredible results in a brand new location. We had some issued but pushed through to land one of the greatest WA species you can possibly hope for off the sand. #fishing #amazing
New Spot - Another PB Catch!

We head out for a quick 4wd and drop some baits after a great night by the camp fire. The wind was blowing hard the night before, but the morning brought heavy seaweed. All we could do was send some baits and see what happens! #landbasedfishing #offroad #outdoors

We take a punt on a new spot to see if there is any action in close or deep. Turns out the swirling high tide was causing us huge problems with keeping the lines out there. Then a good hook up but the line snapped. What happened next only dreams are made of, and somehow we recovered the line with the fish still on there! #landbasedfishing #recoveryispossible #unbelievable

A dusk session after high swells and storm conditions saw us seek a brand new spot to drone and cast from. Results were limited until the sun went down and then it all started to pop off! Really great to get out and about in the WA wilderness again, and can't wait to head back. Keep at it mate, you'll get there one day! It took me a couple of years to get going. The best thing is not to give up.
@@mxtout thanks mate, it has taken me a few years just to learn to make rigs for each species, different knots, how to gut and fillet the fish (I actually only just finished filleting a tailor) but over the past few years, without access to some nice beaches, the river fishes quite well. I've picked up some 50cm+ tailor from jetties but tailor are still the biggest fish I catch. I guess I'm still young and I have a lot of time to hopefully get lucky. Love your collabs with rush.gang.fishing! Keep it up!

@mxtout Every knot has a “tag end”-the loose end that opposes the mainline. You cut it with scissors and throw it on the sand. That's no bueno, brother

Another great video mate. What do you feel is the better months for snapper drone fishing? I'm just starting and hoping we are heading into some good time
yep the bigger sized fish should be out there from now onward but really all year round is possible. Swell and seaweed is the biggest issue, so try and find some regional areas where its not too big issue. Thanks for watching again mate!

hi John thanks for your support mate. im pretty low cost and simple with all of my setups, snelled hooks and min 100lbs mono rigs, shimano aqua tip rod and penn ssm 950 mate, nothing super special!
