There are lost albums that feel almost like "urban legends", and this is one of them. Such an intriguing concept for an album. The other albums that I can think of are Green Day's Cigarette and Valentines, and Panic! At the Disco's Cricket and Clover.

If all of this was finished and the story was fleshed out more, it probably would’ve taken the spot for Weezer’s best album. It’s a real shame we will most likely never hear a finished version.

I know everyone seems to be loving this but man, I'm pretty glad this got ditched in favor of Pinkerton. I think maybe in its final form this could maybe be good, but they really kept the best parts and ditching the space opera was the right move. Sure they could have had a good, weird concept album but what they ended up with was one of the best albums of the decade, it's hard to fault that.

This group is full of top graduates and highly trained people yet they have the horniness and maturity of high schoolers. While SFTBH is an interesting idea it doesn't stand up much when you think about it. That doesn't mean I hate it or don't like it, I actually do, it's just that these things take away from the experience heavily. My opinion of course.

I'm pretty late to this, but I absolutely adore that the album ends with the simple question, "Why?"

I have a theory. Laurel isn't singing "I just threw out the love of my dreams" after discovering how horrible Jonas was Maria, she is singing while the ship takes off of Nomis and heads back for earth, leaving Jonas to die in the supernova. This matches perfectly with the chorus being sung at the climax of "longtime Sunshine" along with the others choruses. Also if she decidedly liked Jonas then why wouldn't she confess her love to him to prevent him from dying in a supernova.

Anyone who’s heard “Our Prayer” by The Beach Boys can hear it in “Countdown” lol. Wow, this album would’ve been crazy.

This exists?!?! Holy hell! I remember trying to assemble this years ago! This is amazing!!! I know Rivers was averse to the RotR similarities (and that is fantastic), but this is completely different. Also, the operatic reference to a huge crank is hilarious, ha.
