In the CZcams wuwa community I reported the news of Tesla's Shanghai energy storage plant replacing the construction site, we had been following the KO1-06 plot (video 12:00) as the construction site for the energy storage plant, but in the second half of April, the land lost its vigor.
Later, I realized that on April 18th, Tesla took another piece of land, which is the land that Tesla gave up two years ago, and it is located in the south of Tesla's factory, which is across the river from the Shanghai plant. The land is adjacent to the Tesla factory, and the completed energy storage plant will form an integrated whole on the map, and it's less than a kilometer from the CATL factory. This is great. After learning the news, I went to the new site and in May, there was not much movement on the land. Tesla and the local authorities had no information, so we had to go to the site and observe the site, which was crowded with a lot of builders and a lot of machinery. The site was busy, and it was clear that Tesla had officially started work on its Shanghai energy storage plant.
Unfortunately, during this aerial photo shoot, Tesla's security guards blocked me again and notified the local police to come over to clean me up, which is really an unbelievable thing...

Thank you very much for your support, but unfortunately, Tesla Shanghai factory does not allow private flights, last week, because of my aerial photography of the energy storage factory site, was stopped by Tesla security and called the police to deal with the situation, but fortunately I did not violate the Chinese law, the police did not take measures against me, so, now flying Tesla Shanghai factory is very dangerous thing. Also, I heard from another CZcams channel that the CATL battery factory that you have filmed many times is actually a Research and Development site and that they have actually producing batteries at another site since last October. Is that true? Why would they build a dormitory for an R&D building?
I did not see any evidence of manufacturing including delivery trucks or even the bays for them . R & D makes sense.
Hello! Yes, the first phase of Catl is the R&D base, and there may be a second or third phase in the future. When the construction is completed, the battery manufacturing plant will be moved here, and the dormitory will of course be provided for the employees, and the short building next to the dormitory is the cafeteria, which is very big, in order to welcome more employees in the future.
It is hard to understand why you are encountering so much trouble with your drone flight. Can you talk to GS management and get clearance to fly without harassment? You know we love to see your drone flight and get information about the progress at GS & Megapack plant. I am sure the plant will progress quickly now that they are started the construction work. Any idea when the plant will be ready for production?

Maybe China is not a very transparent country in the first place, and that extends to the corporations down there, even Tesla, which is an American company, has been localized in China. The Megapack Plant is reported to start production and delivery in the first quarter of next year. Thanks again!

Tesla doesn't seem to have a problem with drone flights at most other locations because they help promote Tesla and Elon. One drone pilot was even given special treatment and allowed to skip the line to buy a Cybertruck.

Dear Wuwa. Tom Zhu just left Texas and are headed for Shanghai. My guess is, that he will be responsible for starting up production of Model 2 Redwood, very soon at Giga Shanghai. You may be the first to discover the prototypes, and I hope you will send pictures out to the world, of the new Smaller Tesla model.
