my favorite breaks are the ones where there is weird or forgotten media. but every break you do is really great.

I know very little of comics and even less about the creators. but damn I love the art and just admire the work that goes into em. great break, and I love learning about the cards you break open.

Spider-man cards were something that I think I got one pack of, but always wanted more as a kid.

Thanks to NERD! I’ve become a fan os Street Fighter: The Movie. I’d always known it was Raul Julia’s last role and the photos of him in costume had me curious, but after listening to the podcast I finally watched it and even started looking for cards. I’m not quite sure what’s wrong with me but you (and Dre) are entirely to blame.

I remember LOVING Gargoyles when it came out (I was ten) and I have strong memories of getting a Goliath action figure, he was the coolest!! Now knowing Keith David was the voice makes it even cooler. Some of the Batman cards are fantastic. I’ve seen you break a few numbered boxes now: is that a common thing?

Every saga has a beginning… It’s so cool to see how far you’ve come in such a short time, Jeff!

I really like this presentation but the fact the resolution for the cards ends up being disappointingly low 😢 I love seeing movie cards (we watched the Gremlins movies on VHS so much as kids, the sequel moreso) and those Marvel Masterpieces are such gems!
