I started fighting Midra and immediately recognized part of the moveset as Radagon’s so I decided I really wanted my first clear to be hitless, and so after many attempts (mainly getting screwed by fast follow ups after the phase transition) I beat Midra, the Lord of Frenzied Flame, hitless! I’m in love with this fight and the aesthetic, so this was a lot of fun! Feel free to ask me any questions about this fight in the comments :D

Turns out this weapon is real nice. Damage is not that great (but keep in mind this is ng ) but the buff gives you a flat damage increase independent from your faith stat so it could be good for level 1. I tried Dark Souls Remastered but I didn’t level up, making my first playthrough an SL1 run! It’s kind of a disaster but also kinda fun, so I’ll definitely be powering through and try to finish the game at SL1 for my first time around! I won’t do all bosses because I’m playing blind so I probably won’t even find them all, but if I end up liking the game a lot I’ll try more challenge runs on it....

Nice but shows luck plays a huge part. She didn't do the waterfowl dance in phase 2.....
If you push her to under half health as fast as possible she’s more likely to spam aeonia instead of waterfowl, that’s why I used kukris to build bleed and cold uchi for frost. I got a double proc and a riposte pretty early on and that was history! So some luck and some strategy ☺️
