I'm seeing one too many comments calling this biphobic, and as a bisexual woman, I highly disagree. From my interpretation, this song is from the perspective of a man who fetishizes bisexuals, particularly bisexual women. The "can you talk about anything besides your boyfriend / good God, I don't wanna hear about your boyfriend" lines are addressing him wanting to have the allure of the girl-on-girl fantasy, as well as being jealous of her being with another man. Even with this fetishization, he's still at odds with it, finding her mentioning her identity to be too brash - queue the "is [being bisexual] something that you really want me to know / 'cause fuck, you say it every single time I'm around" lines. And, of course, he still has the internalized assumption that all women are attracted to/in relationships with men: "Do you have a boyfriend? / I wanna be your boyfriend". It sucks because I've seen so many people assume that the lead singer shares these views, when she's really criticizing them; as a bisexual woman with a very strong preference for women, I find it a really funny (and unfortunately accurate) commentary.
