So the live event never happened as I now think there was too much wifi interference and the settings on the video could have been better but I'm quite pleased with some of the footage I managed to get. its the first attempt at filming fireworks so be easy on me.

Taken a couple of days after the high tide, so not as big as it got but still pretty impressive. the Drone can travel around 30 mph and I struggled to keep up with it at times

Its amazing to see.....1 minute its flowing out....seconds later its flowing the opposite way. Its nature in the raw. I love the river. Were the river is narrow....just before Warrington....its very impressive.

Absolutely brilliant! I'm 70 years old, born down by the river and docks in Liverpool, now live in Runcorn, never lived more than a couple of miles from the Mersey and yet I had no idea that the Mersey had a bore! You learn something every day!

there's a hell of a lot more to this bridge than we all thought. going to look good when it's done. and the good thing about the people is, they are going to double the trees and make sure wildlife is back to normal.
Yes it is an enormous project and it's coming on quite quickly. It should look great when it's finished. I look forward to making a video of it :)

i love all your vids but this is my fave...tried a few times to get upto runcorn to see this but always get my timings wrong!!
Thanks Mike. It is hard to catch it. It comes in at different times. It usually gets to Runcorn anywhere between an hour and a half and two half hours before high tide at Liverpool. I waited for over two hours before I filmed this.
That's fantastic footage mate, gives a whole new perspective on the mighty Mersey - it's a very dramatic place, you've captured it brilliantly .

+Fred Salem you're welcome. It took me a while to venture out that far over the water but the phantom is a pretty reliable machine.
Really enjoyed seeing that, I was going to have a go myself but I was a bit worried about gettin my drone out in the wind, well done, what drone do you have?
Thankyou.I have got a phantom 3 pro. It wasn't too bad the wind I will go out upto about 30 kph winds if the gusts are below 35 kph

+Fred Salem thanks. great machines the phantoms. I don't even use 4k as my computer can't process it properly. 1080 does the job just fine :)
Should av gone with the bond theme like what they had at the display... I would have done that if we got our drone out :)
+caz roberts I couldn't hear the music Caz I have no idea what they playing at the time. I have took note from what you and a couple of other people have mentioned though and I have added a dance track to it instead. I think it goes better with the video. what was the bond track and would I not have copyright issues uploading onto youtube. My daughter suggested fireworks by Katy Perry but I'm not sure how the copyright thing works on youtube
Copyright with youtube is not that bad... they just take the credit for the song u use. ...Facebook 2ont load it. .. not sure what bond music they used. . But i tend to go for orchestral scores... gives that bit of umph with the filming :)

Stunning landscape! Sure makes Texas, US seem awefully boring. The footage looks modified, was this raw? or color enhanced?
