Thick clear duct tape of gorilla tape works pretty good. Still see the crack but will be a great screen protector. Especially if you add layers.
That’s us baby! Thanks for putting this together Romar. I’m so glad we notched one section of the CT. Segment 24 has to be one of the best. The first 8 or so miles at about 12.5K feet has stunning views.
Romar!!! It is so great to see you on the trail again. 14 miles on the first day is some going. I did 14 last weekend and have two black toenails and blisters. 😂 It's the downhill that gets me. The views are absolutely beautiful. Such a stunning State. It is nice to see that you have put a few pounds back on. How is your health holding up these days? How many days or miles are you doing on the CT? Loving the rabbit and deer. Are you still in contact with the English gent from the PCT? It's great to see a video from you, Romar. Thanks for sharing.
We ended up doing 16 miles on day one and it was too much for me. 5,000 of steep down is what did me in. I was going to do last 100 miles of the trail but bailed at end of this segment. Maybe next year.

I have a small thin crack on my phone, and when i charge the phone it gets hot and can that heat spread the crack?

Is there any similar substance and method that would actually be effective?
If you already added the glue, then add layers of clear duct tape or gorilla duct tape. That should be a great screen protector.

My only issue with your video is how did the super glue get through your "screen protector"to fill the crack?
I tried to repair the screen with super glue and I had the same results. Oh well its an older Kindle so I will live it. Thanks for trying.

If you watch the whole video you see that I first tried on the screensaver。And then I tried on my phone because I actually have a crack on the screen。

Yes, two different keys, but i put the innards from old keys in new keys so door remotes still work with new keys.

Can't tell you buddy sorry but they do have them on amazon now。Probably different brand than when I bought them。

it looks like you have a plastic scratch protector over the screen. that should come off first.

I Would press on the screen when applying superglue, it might help it fill the crack by capillarity effect.
Bottom line : Gravity is NOT optional, buy a Sandwich rugged Shell on day One. Problem solved 😂

That’s a horrible idea. Superglue turns telephone screens white that’s why forensics uses it to get fingerprints
