I live together with my partner Lucina on our sailboat Sarita, a Solitaire 52, right now in Greece. This is an advertisement free channel that is just for fun and documentation of things we love to do and want to share with more people. It is a mixture of short videos from moments to longer and more in depth videos that are edited. The quality of the videos varies but I hope you who watch them can enjoy the videos as much as us when we experience what you see.Thanks for watching!
Cleaning the river Ljusnan Aug 2024
The yearly event of cleaning part of the river Ljusnan in Funäsfjälllen from garbage after the tourist season took place on August 24, 2024. We were part of the organizers and the video shows how all volunteers contributed by either snorkelling in the water from SUP with escort boats, canoeing searching the shore line or by foot on land. After slowly floating downstream we all met in a wind shelter for coffee and activities like "fish pond" for kids with candy as the catch, grilled hot dogs over open fire and more. There were around 40 volunteers helping cleaning the river, a lot of them families with kids in variouse ages. We were lucky with the weather so we had a fantastic day with beautiful surroundings started to get autumn colours even if heavy rain during the night made the river overflow. A great day in the river Ljusnan. The organizer is "Nätverket för hållbarhet i Härjedalen" (the network for sustainability in Härjedalen). The Facebook page:

do you think this would work on a 14ft aluminum boat?
@@jckdnls9292 it might be a problem if the top sides are not rounded and being hard might hurt and you need straps to hold on to, so probably more difficult than a rubber dinghy.
OK if I did it I can see 3 problems - 1 my glasses will be gone for ever,, 2 i will strain my stomach muscles and not be able to sit up for a week, 3 the boat flips over with me under it. Otherwise its a great idea.

hello, thank you for this nice video. We are currently in Mesolongi and we would like to spend the winter at anchor in the bay. In your video I don't see a boat at anchor. Have you seen boats spending the winter at anchor? Does this seem possible to you? we live on board and we have already spent winters at anchor in the Balearic Islands.
Yes it is possible, but in winter storms with southerly winds the sea kicks up a bit but with warning you can tie up in the marina then. A fair amount of thunder fronts passes by during the winter as well so gusty winds from different directions at times. But also nice weather in periods. The holding is good and the town cay is free (but in southerlies it is exposed). So I say it is possible but watch the weather and at times uncomfortable at the anchorage (a bit bumpy in the marina as well but with two mooring lines and plenty of shore line it was ok). Problem is that safe alternatives is a bit away so planning and weather watch important if anchoring the whole winter.

Fin film! g körde samma väg i slutet av Juli förra året, min tanke var att det är många björkar som var vissna/döda - undrar om det är älgen eller klimatet som gjort det!

I have held a very great fascination for the wild and beautiful region of Patagonia/Terra del Fuego . I was lucky enough to do a cruise ship voyage just before the Covid outbreak. We visited a few of the places that you have shown but you have covered so very much more in your voyage with Milo. I love your back ground music that is so fitting to the beautiful and wild scenery that you have covered. I so much wish to visit more closely the Patagonian wilderness. Probably a few days staying in Ushuaia would be great so as to be able to examine more closely the vegetation and scenery.

In the cities like Valdivia and Puero Montt it was cheap,especially local products. But in Patagonia it is hard to find shops, basically only one small town, Puerto Eden, and mostly tinned expensive food. For better updates information you can ask Sea Wind that is there now.
