Nice video. Are the main campsites better than the spring creek camping areas in park? Looks like the main campsite has more trees for shade. Been looking for a state park to camp/fish.

Dang, I been AWOL for a month. Time to play catch up. Littering is contagious it seems. One person starts it then it rolls down hill. Too bad it doesnt seem to work in reverse in an already littered area. No one notices what has been removed.

Where from NY have you relocated? Been in NC for 7 yrs now. My old stomping grounds was peekskill NY upper Westchester country. Also lived in Putnam County. Hudson Highlands. Incredible views. Camping with family is priceless, nor matter what time of year.
Syracuse and Herkimer Valley. Moved to NY due to job and got promoted and I work remote now so we move back home down in NC just south of the Charlotte area
One more question. If you put a stove in this tent, is the doorway blocked off? The other two doorways lead into the inner tent, right?
It is in front of one of the doors but I have no issue getting by it as the door is big. The other doors do lead into the inner tent if you set it up and the inner tent has a door that leads into the main tent.

Man ill tell you what, the evolution of flashlights over the last 20 years is amazing. When I was young kid in the boy scouts we carried Mag Lights, you know the ones you could use as a walking stick that took like 4 D size batteries. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Also, knowing your scuba certified just opened Pandora's box...I need to see a video where you dive down into a cave system, come up into a cave and set up camp and do an overnighter 😂😂😂
Yup i used the mag lights as well. Some of the best lights on the market if you ask me. The cave diving won’t happen. My dive license is for open water so I can’t do any cave diving until I am properly trained and certified. I am hoping to incorporate scuba diving into the channel at some point.
This light worked really well for us on our 4th July trip.

Been lucky with mine hasn’t leaked. Have the 4 man dome. If snow packed up against it moisture can seep thru slightly but goes under the floor matt. Been good addition to my hot tent gear
Do put a cheap air mattress pillow under canopy and keeps water from pooling on top. Only issue have had but didn’t leak and held 10 inches of snow before turned to rain. Left out for three weeks during few snow storms. Plus camped in it and tested out a stove while was up
Good idea about the air pillow. But to be honest the leak was so minimal that it really doesn’t concern me with this tent. I really don’t get the snow in my area so I haven’t tested mine with snow yet. Thank you for watching and leaving us comments.

Nice video. As a safety advocate, please remind your viewers to avoid interfering or distracting any of the tarmack crew. They spook easily and will call NTS police on you in a heartbeat. Also, tresspassing on some international airports is a felony and will draw FBI and Homeland security terrorism investigations onto you. Keep clear of the tower, tarmack and sensitive areas. Just not worth the risk. Be kind to the pilots, air traffic controllers and tarmack workers. This is their livelihood.
