I just started literally yesterday, I bought a Seydell session blues in C and can almost hit the draw 2 bend consecutively... it seems to only want to go with heavy muting. I also bought a Special 20 in D, and I find it to be a bit easier to land those low draws. I have a chunky bottom lip, which the guy at the music store said would be my friend when it comes to bending notes, idk if this is true or not, but I've been fairly taken aback by how quickly I'm getting these things that take some people weeks if not months to learn...

Do we have the exact reason why a computer power supply doesn't bring noise? is there a specific shield treatment?

But did you test it after building your project?

The Dell power supply is smart. if it doesn't detect a draw it doesn't power on.. that said I power all my pedals from a dell power supply and have since before you posted this...

it is just DC going through.. this is a rubbish test

Apart from power supply hum, It is surprising just how much noise is generated within the guitar itself - even on a guitar like mine which is humbuckers only. Now of course this is where a basic, inexpensive and small noise gate pedal at the very beginning of the pedal chain can work wonders. Often we can blame hi-gain pedals when in reality they are simply amplifying the interference delivered to them from the guitar - that guitar noise may sound very low when connected straight into the amplifier, but those hi gain pedals will pick it up and multiply it greatly - each pedal in the chain boosting the original guitar noise some more. A small budget noise gate can be picked up from ebay for little money - and it will quickly earn its place at start of the pedal board.

Hey that's a pretty solid idea imo. My cheap daisy-chain power supply is too noisy to be useful, just the fix I was looking for.

That's just the difference between switched power supplies and transformer power.
