    First time listener. Ive been a Lakers fan since 1969. And my perspective of our team is a lot different. I don't think we should place all or most of our trust in a 39 year old. He walks up and down the court with little urgency; especially on defense. LeBron can still fill up the stat lines but he has not made other players better. When LeBron has had high scoring games, weve lost. When LeBron hasnt played, the role players step up: they are executing on offense and everone knows their defensive assignments. The 7 Turnovers from LeBron along eith the lack of rebounding killed us. But in game two, DLo was connecting on his three pointers and running the offense in yhe first half while connecting with AD, who had a monster first half. Somewhere in the third quarter, LeBron took over the offense and only got AD the ball once in the forth quarter, as LeBron was calling his own number as the superstar of the team. Sad to see. LeBron needs to follow Kobe by acknowledging that his best days are gone and he should retire. We need to help AD and build around him sonce he is in his prime.

    • @hard2handlesports
      @hard2handlesports Před 28 dny

      I agree partially. Let's not forget the dark times before Lebron got here. Also at some point AD has to demand the ball if he not getting touches and he had hot hand in the first half. It also looked like AD was gassed in the latter half of the third and in the 4th. I do agree that lebron shouldn't be handling the ball that much like he did in the second half tho. The minutes with lebron on the bench killed us tho and I blame Ham for that. Hachimura and Reeves didn't give us anything so it's hard for me to say let the other take over. DLo had an amazing first half but that unsustainable for the whole game, AD did need more touches but he a big enough star to be vocal about it. In the end I didn't think we lost game 2 because of lebron. I do follow your train of thought tho, appreciate the perspective.

    • @timraschke2915
      @timraschke2915 Před 28 dny

      @@hard2handlesports good stuff. It's hard for AD to get the ball since he doesn't initiate the offense and LeBron is taking over the game. Agree that Rui was awful in these past two games and we have little bench scoring. Coach Phil restricted both MJ amd KOBE to play within the triangle offence but then allowed them to take over in the forth. Don't you think that Darvin shows the same respect and leeway to LeBron? I watched the post Kobe days. Heard some news media explain that LeBron walking up and down the court is a strategy to conserve energy. With his poor shooting percentage for the last two minutes of the game, why take the shot? Why not drive the lane or pass? Why shoot with 9 seconds left that allowed Murray the winning shot?

    • @hard2handlesports
      @hard2handlesports Před 27 dny

      @@timraschke2915lmao first I wouldn’t utter Ham’s name in the same sentence as Phil. That man is a fan not a coach , he provides nothing. Also we can’t gloss that lebron is 39 , comparing him to Kobe and MJ at this point in his career is asinine. Also this was probably Lebrons best year ever shooting the three and he was WIDE open, when you wide open like that is hard to not let it fly. In a way that fall from the defender helped nuggets because lakers would’ve ran the clock otherwise. The time left on the clock bothered me more than how hot or cold lebron was at the moment when analyzing that last shot

    • @timraschke2915
      @timraschke2915 Před 27 dny

      @@hard2handlesports I didn't compare Darvin to Phil. My Kobe statement is when he realizes that his body wasn't going to endure the grind of a full season: especially coming off an Achilles injury. He loved the game but wanted to stay at a high level. So he retired after 20 years, was well loved on his farewell tour, and finished with a 60 points game. His drop the mic will always be remembered.

    So I guess the cowboys are frauds because they lost the Cardinals. I guess the eagles are frogs cuz they lost to the Jets. I guess the Chiefs are frauds because they lost to the Packers. Oh and the broncos everybody's frauds because somebody loses a single game. Yeah it was stunning how they lost. Rather pathetic but to call somebody a fraud because of a loss no matter the outcome or how it happened is just moronic

      Looking at all my comments i didn't get to reply to. The titans at the time were one of many reasons why the dolphins were frauds. The couldn't beat a team with a winning record and then Tua got exposed in the cold in the playoffs. I will say this tho, that division got weaker this offseason, so they could win it next year. But the conference is super hard so we'll see how they do

      @@hard2handlesports I mean it's better isn't it? And towards the end of the year they had no offensive line that were starting. Not a single one other than Austin Jackson. Connor Williams was her armstead was her. Robert hunt was hurt. Robert Jones was gone. Jalen Phillips was out Chubb was out. Unfortunately they were just decimated towards the end of the year and their biggest issue when you're starting playing third string. Fourth string players kind of happens. And yeah it was cold in Kansas. Anyway, it was actually dangerously cold. Well it was a negative 10° or something on top of that, every single so-called good team has lost to a bad team all year. Mine needs to have to lose to one So no Miami weren't frauds. We're still a playoff team so that doesn't make you a fraud. They're just not super bowl contender

      I get it, i did acknowledge that, his mentality is probably one of the reasons he's a pro! But it wouldn't be the first time a team or player didnt win on purpose for their own benefit. Mexico vs Italy in 2002 world cup both played for a tie at the end of the game to guarantee they would both go thru! chargers and raiders almost did it in week 18 two years ago but chargers broke truce and Raiders won and eliminated them. Even last year, Rudd last RR match he clearly tanked/conserved energy vs Nadal in the 3rd match since he was already guaranteed top spot of group. Went on to reach final and lose.

      I appreciate that, I did say that mentality could be why hes a pro! But lets no act like it doesnt happen in sports. In the 2002 world cup if Mexico and Italy tied they would both go thru to the knockout round and both teams kinda just passed the ball around in the last 15 minutes to guarantee that they would go thru. Chargers vs Raiders a couple years back, a tie would make them both go to playoffs and it was going there until chargers kinda broke the truce and raiders went for the win.
