All these years later and am still watching the Hobbit trilogy.

Smaug too was a beautiful huge dragon. The presence of Ian Holm the aged senior Bilbo along with Frodo (Elijah Wood) this trilogy completed the look and feel of middle earth . The Hobbit is the beginning like Fran Walsh said to Peter Jackson " to Do LOTR start with the Hobbit"

We still watch The Hobbit all these years later. We love the characters Bilbo, Gollum, the Dwarves. The Elves. Radaggast the Brown, Gandlaf, Lady Galadriel, Beorn, The Eeagles and even Azoc and his son with the Wargs, the Orcs

This is why the John Bateman plotline and the retcons in Season 9 don't work. Even the timeline doesn't work. In Season 9 Lucas said he joined M1-5 in 1996, which would mean he was only working for 3-4 years before his imprisonment. Surely that wasn't long enough to almost become head of Section 9 and one of the "best in the field"? Also, this interview kind of suggests Harry recruited Lucas. Which makes sense, but its contradicted in Season 9 when he says he joined.
