I work that u Mass hospital for 5 years as a janitor didn't even see one in the background. Without janitors any hospital will shut down. I got PTSD from working there. I was told to shut up so many times when somebody died of neglect or at the fault of one the health providers nurses doctors such as all these nurses that are being glorified. I seen a woman with no face because strep eating bacteria ate her face off. because the operating rooms were not cleaned enough because they would not give us enough time to clean them the right way. If you die there and you look good enough they'll fix your hair and put you on a skinny little stretcher and they'll put you dead body into the elevator with visitors who have no clue that they are next to a dead person. When it was a freight elevator that was there to bring the bodies to the morgue. I heard a woman screaming murder for 40 minutes I told her nurse you hear that screaming that's your patient can you please do your job I got yelled at by my bosses and lawyers. And what was this nurse doing talking about her vacation. A woman was intubated in the ER and she died I saw the autopsy the hose that was supposed to save her life was all crimped up in her throat the hospital helped that woman die. And again I was told again to shut up and not say anything. And I go to do a discharge the patient is released or they died in this case the nurses were in there putting smiles on the dead person's face I shook my head and walked away and came back 20 minutes later to do my job. And we all wonder why it takes so long to get through the ER . I could hear them talking about who was the best car who took the best vacation who cook the best Thanksgiving Day turkey who got the best gift who's the better person blah blah blah blah blah. Meanwhile people were screaming. When I got to see behind the scenes and most of the ER was empty. I'm still suffering from this PTSD that I will have for the rest of my life.
So clever. I feel the emotion.
Happy birthday umass memorial hospital

The song sounds good but it's a Extremely WHITE video. There are tons of other nurses of other races working at UMass but hey, I know how racist the staff are at UMass. Hey...I said it... it's a fact.
Elaborate
@@codyjohnle the statement stands as it is, add or subtract what you may.
@@PlenteMaq I'll add this, you stating something does not mean it's a fact. I have a genuine curiosity
@@codyjohnle I am not the one to satisfy your curiosity, that's on you. The initial statement stands as it is, add or subtract what you may.
@@PlenteMaq that's a very empty statement. "Racism" is a very serious charge and should only be used with evidence, of which I'm assuming you have none. Good luck in your endeavors
Lots of talent!
That was excellent, and very enjoying to watch.
The only problem nurses have is! They work so well you don't know they are there.
Quite a polarity between the nurses at UMASS - be it 55 Lake ave or Belmont St., who have a kind and compassionate bedside manner, as opposed to those with *job Burn-Out* and are particular to exacerbate a patient's suffering. Long story short: I should-have filed a Grievance.
Thank you
April 2020 In Bakersfield, California my Mom is a retired nurse. I truly thank you for all the support, passion, and encouragement you strive and make a difference in people's lives.
Great song and video
Makes me proud to be a nurse! You Umass nurses have the swagger though! Great video!

Great video!!! I need to work here!!!
I really like this. Employee enthusiasm is awesome. The patients feel it when someone is just doing their job vs. really excited about getting their patient serve on.
