after holidays on the island of Mallorca, I'm heading back home to Düsseldorf. I was excited to spot some great planes at PMI and the great departure out of Palma. After boarding, our pushback truck suffered an electronic failure and could not move on, neither uncouple. The consequence: 2h on the ground. Check out my report to see my experience.

YES! Usually, bus drivers at Antalya airport sell all kinds of drinks at their rides
I have a question, i will fly with corendon this summer. I see you checken your baggage. Did you have hand luagguage or Spacious Baggage. Because i only have 8kg Hannd luggage and i think its not enough. The question is can i check in online so i can skip the check in so they dont see i have more kg than allowed.
This always depends on the airline. Flying Ryanair you would not be successful, but flying Corendon the chance is pretty high that they will not care for the weight and measure of your hand luggage. As always, you have to decide whether you risk paying extra money. May I ask, of how much weight over 8kg are we speaking here?

They might tell you that you don't have to check in online from Glasgow but they won't tell you that you must check in online at Antalya and if you don't everyone is charged 10 euro. At Antalya the whole plane going to Glasgow and the Manchester plane as well were charged an extra 10 euro each, 500 passengers paid 5000 euro between them, so be ready for this. They also say they take cards or cash for onboard snacks but they won't take your card so you are left with only being able to pay in English currency or euros. I wouldn't bother as their snacks are fun-size (miniature) and grotty.

If you should have the possibility, I absolutely recommend the A220. But unfortunately there is no enjoyable engine sound besides the nice engine howling. The only disadvantage in my opinion.

Thanks 🤝. A Eurowings transfer at DUS is absolutely simple, cause it’s Eurowings‘ hub. You probably gonna arrive at Terminal A and almost every EW flight from DUS to DRS also departs from Terminal A. Since your bag gets transferred to your connecting flight automatically, you just have to go a pair of steps to the next gate which you find out by looking on the departure boards … no big deal, takes almost no time and is very easy. Good flight and enjoy travelling via DUS👍If you have other questions, don’t hesitate to ask .

@@TheRJDaniels I guess that depends on the person, who watches. Watch for example at Onboard HD‘s videos, I follow his style of filming and cutting. I personally totally enjoy these videos because on one hand you see ”normal“ aspects of a flight / trip, but on the other hand you get detailed information about planes, routes, airports and so on…. I absolutely understand that most people think that’s boring to watch, but I guarantee: there is this special field of geeks who really enjoy exactly that

Great that you showed the terminal connections between A, B and C. A lot of people fly from DUS and don't realize this alternative. Also, although some queues can be immense, I love this airport - real easy to navigate it. Once of my favorites by far. Loved your content, keep it up! ✈

Love the positive outlook on the flight! I’m a real nervous flyer (especially when travelling with an airline that’s new to me) and have been looking for a reliable review of Corendon to put my mind at ease. Lots of other reviews seem biased and overly-critical (which honestly makes me feel more frightened) as it is a low cost, ‘budget’ airline, but your review feels truly honest and you take a brilliant perspective in acknowledging the minor inconveniences (without blowing them out of proportion), but also putting focus onto the positives - celebrating the airline rather than putting them down! Bravo and many thanks from the UK 👏
I don’t receive detailed comments like this one very often, thank you so much!!! I can only concur, honestly I can not affirm any criticism of other aviation CZcamsrs, beside of the delays. Corendon‘s delays are huge sometimes, and as I already said, they happen more often than at other airlines. Take a look into the video description, I sum up my rating there. And just one question: could you, as a native speaker I guess, quickly comment on my English? That‘s my first TripReport with English subtitles…haha

When do they check if you have overweight in your hand laguage, when you dont need to check-in and go to the secruity control directly?
Basically, many airlines place a metal-thing at the gates, in which the staff puts ur luggage to measure it. But often (or almost), the staff does not do that. In the end, you can just guess…

What time is your flight? At what time did you arrived there? Your video make me surprise because we go on holiday next month on 20 august with condor air. Our flight is 6:30 am. I hope everything is smooth too. Anyway, Have a great trip there !
Hey. Just look into the video description, I wrote the departure and arrival time down there. I also flew Condor a couple of years ago, it was a great flight!

Welche Uhrzeit ca ankunft und gab es starke Turbulenzen?
Wir sind gegen 8:30Uhr in Antalya gelandet. Turbulenzen gab es an diesem Tag keine. Auf dieser Route kann das natürlich trotzdem passieren. Dann meistens über den Alpen.

@@OliVer-nn5ef Zurzeit fliegt SunExpress noch nicht von Dresden. Der Sommerflugplan ist ja auch noch nicht draußen, denke man erst Mai. Wie du im Video siehst hatte ich gute Erfahrungen mit SunExpress. Ich wünsche einen angenehmen Flug im Juli 👍

Habe mir das vor meinem Flug von Köln Bonn angeschaut das war letztes Jahr im Juli. Sehr gute Einblicke in den airport und eine freihe film Art. Sehr gut gemacht. Wollte auch ein Trip Report machen Corendon Köln nach Heraklion aber vor lauter Aufregung obwohl dies mein 11 flug mit 12 Jahren war habe ich viele Sachen vergessen zu Filmen. Ist ja klar bei Covid lieber genießen als nur auf Handy zu gugen und zu film.
Wie sah es da mit Beinfreiheit aus? :)
Sorry, ich habe wohl vergessen diese aufzunehmen. Ich war zu diesem Zeitpunkt ca. 1,60m groß und hatte genügend Beinfreiheit. Die Beinfreiheit gleicht sich einer Norm-737-Bestuhlung, also kann man es mit z.B. 1,80m dort in mittleren Zufriedenheitsmaß aushalten. Da die SunExpress Flüge aus DE maximal 5 Stunden andauern, wird man keine Schwierigkeiten haben.
