12V Accessory Outlet Mod. 2001 Tahoe Conversion to Ignition Switch Power.
This video details how to convert the "always on" 12vdc convenience outlets to "switched" power on a 2001 Tahoe/Suburban. This prevents accidental battery discharge when you forget to unplug a 12-volt accessory from the vehicle's convenience outlet. Disclaimer: I don't know if the electrical layout on any other Tahoe year is similar to 2001. If not, follow the CONCEPTS and PRINCIPLES presented here to achieve satisfactory results in your vehicle.

Larry Stapleton filmed this tribute to the great Roy Sims during the Roy-A-Thon Boogie in 2001. Roy was landing after a jump at West Memphis Skydiving when a hot dog swooper took Roy's air and Roy hit hard with severe injury. Roy has since made a full recovery and we love him!
