Were glad you liked our video ! 😄 We really wanted to tell our feelings about this trip because we learned a lot on top of being in a beautiful place ! We’re from « mainland France » and medias here always have the same views over Antilles (infantilizing and lowering) and so we wanted to tell our vision, a bit outside the box as it were 🤗

And yes we were a bit afraid of the pelicans 😂😂😂 they look threatening don’t they ? 😩😩

@@ChillLittleTripsWell, thank you again. I'm doing a move to Rhone Alps this year, and started researching everything and discovered all these...regions outside of what I considered "France." And I don't want to use the word shocked, but I was very, very surprised at all the locations and categories of places--some even considered France itself. So watching you travel soooo far, but still being inside the country made me look at the US (and other big countries) that have this kind of...deal. So to be able to see your trip and insights/feelings was a delight.

South of France is a really great place to live, there is always something to discover around ! 🤗 The only problem may be the heat that can be pretty strong during summer, like in Toulouse or Montpellier ! 😭 But those cities have pretty good public transportations ! @@DeanRamser In the middle of summer it can reach 40 degrees. I'm talking about Toulouse here. Montpellier is close to the beaches so there will be more air to compensate, unlike Toulouse where even for me the heat is sometimes unbearable. 😮‍💨

@@DeanRamser Hello, as a French from Montpellier, I can confirm that the temperatures in summer are around 40-42 Celsius, if you live in the city center, the heat is even more intense because there is no air flow at all. No cooling during the night or summer storms to cool down. Be sure to look for a rental that has air conditioning or to get out of Montpellier in summer otherwise it might be tough. It is perfect the rest of the year though.

@@jasmineb2116 Bonjour! 42 Celsius? Wow! How is Toulon? Biarritz? Normandy? We have had triple-digit heat waves in Los Angeles and Portland, but our AC worked great! Without air conditioning, my wife's MS goes berserk. Very serious. Thank you! Merci beaucoup!
