My son Andy covering a song I’ve been trying to learn for a long time. He nailed that intro timing. Nice job Andy! Let’s finish the song together.

My band, Rivendell, performing The Analog Kid by Rush. All rights belong to Rush, we're just playing this for fun. Joined by my friends Mike on bass, Stefan on vocals, Marc on drums, and Mark on keys. So much fun. Poor video quality, audio is decent.

You’re on the wrong side of the road
Jimmy page ….. genius at guitar….out classed jimmy hendricks…by far..
Take it off completely including the crappy catalytic converter just to see how it sounds, you will love it
Place name
Led Zeppelin such a great rock band !!!!
💐 'PromoSM'
Perfect bike for that kind of road.
Good vid man, just need to flick that camera up a touch👌
Very well played and great guitar sound my friend! Keep up the great guitar work!! 🎸
Camera angle is bit tilted, it would be really great if you keep it straight other than that compliments for the video ❤️
immaculate vibes
100% geniales.
music choice. okay.
Awesome
I bought Zepplin's first album back in the day when they sold albums in Mono or Stereo. I bought it solely because of the album cover, a black and white zeppelin, engulfed in flames. I had never heard of them, and neither had anyone else I knew. The first play thru changed the world as I knew it!!!
First time seeing this great performance wow.
😍
wow that solo was out there!!! really far out and groovy...loved the outside note choices
It seems to be missing something...can't quite put my finger on it.
If you have a Sun Dragon or any 59 Tele. Put 4 radio shack “high energy” magnets on the copper bottom plate of the bridge pickup. 2 rectangle 1” w//hole placed in the center next to each other and 2 1/4” button type magnets on each side. Make sure the polarity feels correct. You’ll have the tone absolutely nailed if you play out of a Supro Super. 8” speaker open back. It just got bigger but that formula of Valco/Supro 6V6 type Amps NOT the Black Magic really sound authentic with open backs. The Park SunDragon Amp Jimmy sent to Mitch, here in LA. Was a trip to see! It had those old radio knobs and really was open backed with a super small power section but the speaker was one of the bitches. I think they went with a Jensen but I can’t remember. They are now not $23,000. They’re about 1/10th that but are not N.O.S.
Nice playing!
it's a good thing that page did not go with that other dude instead of Robert Plant..
Jimeh epic
Man......and I thought playing lz on a tele was breaking the law😂
Well, John Bonham also had a change with instruments. He played Premium Drums before switching to Ludwig.
So he started playing the Telecaster first, then he Les Paul later on.
Joe Walsh of all people turned Jimmy onto the Gibson LP
THERE'S A BETTER VERSION THAN THIS ONE THEY DO 4 SONGS
terrific job. I've been a Clinton fan for a while and probably because I am now 73 I was not aware of promises. Well friend kept me, and I am mediately began exploring. Not only do I really like The song, but I really like this version better than his. Your guitar is what makes it work for me and the ending is a true work of art. Thanks for making my day. Tom
Thomas Tyson Thank you, sir. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's such a great song.
Page didn't understand too much blues to play solos like it. But he did try a did try and did a fine ass job.
Jimmy Page was also the oldest member of the group.
Jimmy's tone was amazing when he was rocking the Telecaster
Why are Jimmy Page licks never featured in guitar mags? Of all the issues I've read, never once seen a Page lick, anyone know why?
+David Haley jealousy.
I hope that was a joke......
What was a joke?
Hey David, sorry...I wasn't trying to be a jerk. I have a whole bunch of old Guitar for Practicing Musicians magazines....80's and 90's that were loaded with Page lessons, licks, tabs, etc. Can probably find some on eBay.
nicestrat no probs I've been buying guitar mags for ten years or so(in the UK), and I have definitely noticed a lack of Zep/page stuff, it's all EC/Hendrix etc.
I like that muting he does at the beginning.
Bonham is the closest thing to GOD
Sir, I disagree with your blasphemy, Clapton is, and always shall be, God. At least until my tastes change lol.
Ex Jock Guard Bonham is the drummer, dude...
teles sound lik absolute shit and they look gay as hell
James Rockford not as gay as your name.....
James Rockford I like the sound of his tele better than his LP actually. In fact, his playing made me get a tele. And imo they're pretty slick-looking
Well it was 1969. It looks weird if you compare it to today but you just have to remember when this was
SavageMadman 99 they had Flying Vs, Explorers SGs, Les Pauls as far back as the 50s
+James Rockford I'm not talking about the guitar. You said they all look gay as hell and that's what I was referring to
Yes, he played a Tele throughout the Yardbirds and up to the last LZ concert with John Bonham, along with a Strat and a Les Paul and a Gibson 12-string electric ...
well done, buddy.
Nice work! You got that tone nailed!
Great job! Love the ending !
Page never should have switched to Gibson his tone with a telly is perfect
Jake McKean He thought it was easier to play a Les Paul and his signature telecaster got broken
Joe Walsh called Page. I don’t remember the year. Joe had a Gibson Les Paul Std. 1958/9, and it had its neck shaved down and had been refinished with no SN#. This seems very weird. As if “#1” may have been HOT? I dunno but he insisted Page buy it. Hand delivered it to England. Would you strip the serial number off a sweet ass guitar for any reason? Not unless it’s got secrets..... I submit that it’s entirely possible and nobody but Joe knows. That guitar could have been something that needed to leave the country.
they had been completed already
Sounded nice with you playing the licks!
I'm a moth/\.
I actually love his Heartbreaker solo, it's all a matter of preference. Some people prefer super technical, light speed players. I prefer sloppy emotional players.
he is not sloppy
@@sooparticular yes he is lmao
@@renolds4300 no hes not he is amazing
For all the naysayers who question the abilities of Page, Plant, Bonham and Jones as individuals or as a group I would like to remind you when it is all said and done, they are Led Zeppelin, they wrote the songs, they recorded the albums, they sold the records, they did it all and more, and what you did is still a great mystery to us all.
Led Zeppelin is a great band, there's no doubt of that... But. Are you making an _Ad populum_ ? Serious?
I disagree. . The Tele sound was too thin and twangy. . no "balls" to it. .
@@brunocandiotti5441 no that opinion is based on my own personal observations over the last fifty years. Thank you.
good job! check out my cover :D
Fake ass hell he is tip toeing
Why, of course you do.
I think this song is the first "metal" song.
Don Bagley then you've not heard Helter Skelter by the beatles
Or all The Who's songs
@@LJ-on6be oh shut the hell up you Beatles fanboy
