I have been fishing as long as I can remember. I enjoy the outdoors going fishing with friends and family. I live in the Toronto area and fish mainly Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay for salmon and trout.
I also enjoy targeting walleye, perch, crappie and northern pike all year.
I usually enjoy the challenge of going to a new body of water and break down the lake and catch fish.
I fish during the summer in my Tracker Targa 18WT boat.

NICE, why the release? To small. LOL I know nothing about salmon
I kept one earlier and didn’t have a chance to eat it yet, I catch many salmon throughout the season. I try to release the ones That are not hooked bad. The clip attached to the side of the boat works well to revive them for a quick release back. Cheers and thanks for watching 🎣💪🤜🤛

How deep are you running your down rigger when targeting lake trout at Larder Lake?
Lakers are bottom huggers so I try to be 10 feet from bottom.

Ya the doors are not too tight the wire is on the side of the door. During down rigging, the doors are usually closed to avoid a tripping hazard. I hope this helps.
How did you wire your riggers?
I just use stainless steel downrigger cable

On the tracker, Targa, I have doors on each side that I have run heavy gauge wire to the starter battery to power the Downrigger’s. When not in use I coil up the wires into the storage compartment on each side. Some people go to the extent ending installing a receptaclefor each downrigger, but I didn’t do that.
