I agree. A black coupe with those black center wheels is the most amazing looking combo. This is exactly the combo I will want to get with the tail too. If you think it looks good here, wait till you take it out on a cloudy day.

Why are the aluminum, trailing arm suspensions the same color and texture of the fresh undercoating?
EdK- There can be a couple of reasons for this. The most likely is dealer (undercoating). Remember back the. Cars were. prone to rust. This gave rise to the undercoating industry. Do you recall Ziebart and Rusty Jones? By 1976 the entire production of TR6 was dedicated to North America. I have seen cars where the rust proofing coating was applied indiscriminately. Even in the engine bay there was a thick black coating all over the body color of the engine bay. When people restore these cars or even trying to spruce the car up, they often will remove the old undercoat. It is a difficult and tedious job. But they do it because they want to show the engine bay. But the trailing arms are under the car and only you or your mechanic are ever going to see it. So often folks just leave it. Hope this helps.
I'm no expert but there seems to be a few holes in the chassis part known as the T - shirt. Also isn't there considerable oil leak from the engine / gearbox?
It looks like the Tranni is very wet or oily. He didn’t show any nipples or drops, but it could be the gasket is shot? The outside and interior look like a 10 but the undercarriage needs much work. We say Aussen OOOHHHHWWWEEE unten PPPPHHHHEEEEWWWWEEEE translation of Englisch Outwardly OH YEAH underneath IT SUCKS. But all that said, this is the best start up I’ve heard here. The valves aren’t clapping, and the Ansa exhaust sounds raw. Although the quad exhaust is My preferable set up. I think 40K bucks is too much for this car. Considering it wasn’t a frame up restoration and the engine and undercarriage look shabby, I think it’s at least 10K too expensive. In Europe You can get a fuel injection PI for less than that. For 35K you can get an almost show quickly TR-6. But at least He can say He has a few. I sold mine an now I’m talking SMACK. It’s still a nice car.

WHAT KIND OF BLUE COLOR IS THIS Sir,
The colour is Mercedes Benz 904 Dunkelblau but beware! I have previously ordered a little paint that was supposed to be the same colour, admittedly it was listed as the original 904 and it really did not look like this fine example. I think it's possible there are some variations of 904.

Stainless steel wiper blade covers are gone ,The wrong wipers are black should have been replaced with inserts and retain covers.
