A big well done to our #corpsofdrums for the Commandant's Parade, your hard work and effort has paid off.
I didn’t know cadets were allowed full auto
I remember on exercise forgetting i had an LSW instead of the standard L85A2 and putting my hand on the barrel... hot hot 😅😅
I started dying when have way through the music they decided to switch it up to Auld lang syne
Where where you when club penguin die “I was marching with the army cadets”
Is the barrel free floating or is it fixed with the bipot mounting?
The bipod doesn't touch the barrel but the handguard on the a1 and a2 does. The l86 hasn't been used in the army for a while now, the L85a3 has a freefloating barrel
Why this isn't in MW22 is beyond me.
The look of the gun reminds me of the german FG-42, looks awesome
It also looks like a ultra budget design for a machine gun made and designed for an army with very low budget that can't really afford an actual machine gun.
Cool.
Love fox barracks
I can see my lad's cheeky smirk at 1.22 🤣
Is that even a military regulation haircut?
This is Army Cadets, it's a youth organisation for 12-18 year olds, not the actual military, you can have your hair any length as long as it's tied up.
@@BeeBeau oh ok thanks
@@Theworldisyours2003 No problem.
Stands out a mile when some of them are out of step.0.54,1.27,2.37,2.43,need more drill guys.
Is that British L87a3?
L86a2
L86(A2) LSW
I was in army cadets around 2013 and never got to shoot a L86, only shot a number 8 rifle (.22) and a l85a2 on semi. Lucky kids
I was in cadets in 94 and we got to play with the .22 just not the l85 we were taught to strip the mk3 Enfield and Bren and the Bren was used for punishment drills lol my huge regret was we never shot them on the range . I'm well jel of these cadets lol .
The replacement for the 7.62 LMG (i know, I'm going back a bit!)? A good prep for the workhorse GPMG.
Really? I thought it was more to replace the Bren gun that still saw active combat during the Falklands war. The M240G /GPMG could never be replaced with the L86 LSW, especially considering the massive range difference and penetration compared to 5.56 vs 7.62. I know the L86 was sometimes used to hit targets slightly further away due to the range of the L85 because the L86 had a longer and heavier barrel, meaning it could hit targets the L85 couldn't.
Long silly weapon
Good job it’s no longer in service then
It's the same length as an AK47 - 36 inches
@@theimmortal4718 long silly weapon is it nickname by those who carried it and fired it. Its a piece of poo of a weapon.
@@lokischildren8714 So us an AK long to you?
@@lokischildren8714 The RPK, with the same barrel length is 5 inches longer
Finger should remain depressing trigger until rifle settled.
It’s fully automatic.... you only do tht on semi to prevent disturbances to position but if u did tht here u have an empty msg and range staff going ballistic
@@callum7018 you are indeed correct... how I didnt notice that is beyond me!!! 😂
We have all been monging at one point or another 😬😂
lol not on a full auto weapon
I remember this one from Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2
Lol in Canadian cadets we can only shoot really weak single-shot pellet air rifles. Y'all are lucky to be able to shoot guns like these. In Canada full autos are straight up banned.
its out of service now:(
@@felixboldy1152 Hopefully we'll get a replacement.
@@BeeBeau we'll probably get the l98a3 when it comes out in a couple uears
@@felixboldy1152 Hopefully.
Men of Harlech Stop your dreaming, can't you see their spear points gleaming
I hate to be the pedantic guy but those are not the lyrics. They were actually made up just for Zulu. "Tongues of fire on Idris flaring news of foe men near declaring to heroic deeds of daring call you Harlech men"
I've listened to both versions; and I love them both. Thank you for informing this dull-minded commenter.
Men of harlech
get in step sheesh
Shut it.
how old do you need to be to do this
Age doesn't matter it's star level. You have to being training 3* to shoot it
cadets are from a bout 12 to 18
12-18, 3* cadet, but the LSW is, sadly, out of service without a replacement now.
Nicely done
This video was awesome my area that I’m in has never done this
Wait, who was the drum major? I recognize the voice from Longmoor music camp 2015
