This Russian song "Кorobeiniki" (Or "Korobushka") dates back to about 1861, These are the times of the Russian Empire. Tetris was created in 1984 in the USSR. We knew this song before the game. It is not so surprising to us that a Russian person used a Russian song for a Russian game 😄

This is amazing. It's calming yet distraught, soothing yet full of sorrow. The violin part were it slides up to the high notes as the climax sends shivers down my spine. Fantastic job, best rendition by far

I learned this was the Tetris theme only after binging SMB's Russian thugs album which had fun facts. Russian music is really amazing. My top fav are Russian music and agressive military songs but orchestral.
