I replaced the key housing of my dad’s Passat CC, tried to start the car a few times and it would not start. Almost shat myself from the impending ass whooping I would have received. I forgot to implant the transponder in the new housing. 😳 luckily I came across this video and I’ve rectified my mistake.

I never take my keys but I live in the country in Kentucky Iv never even heard of a car being stolen and I see friends loose there car keys or lock there car keys in there car all the time. I Never leave anything valuable in my car and I never remove my keys lol

A car key should always remain a separate physical object. Never should it become an app on a smartphone. Such a thing brings an inherent security risk. Criminals can easily find a way to break into these apps, potentially your account, and gain access to your vehicle.

I have changed the key case and followed the exact instructions. However now the remote control don't work. It won't open or close my car doors.
