this is a super cool idea, but why does everything have to be a ‘core’ or ‘aesthetic’? It would be all fine and good if you just stuck to it being a normal plate rack instead of trying to aestheticize it

Have you ever mixed your own chalk paint using calcium carbonate? I don't know what she uses but I imagine real chalk. I can't afford her paint but I've got a bunch of calcium carbonate, some gypsum and gonna get some paint and make some. Got some brushes too.
I have mixed many many variations of my own paint with textures like baking soda or sawdust. I will tell you though if you ever can purchase her paint- it is like no other. It coats so well, doesn’t smell, very pigmented and the color blends she has came up with are truly superb!!Have fun creating!!

I,as probably many others, don’t have much room between storm and main door therefore need a more narrow wreath form… sooo I used one of the wire wreath frames for the white fuzzy mop 😅heads from dollar tree plus… it took almost four… hot glued just fine… do you think the coffee filters would look okay glued onto the wire one? Thank you‼️😁👍🏻
If you wanted to, you could glue paper strips or fabric strips and wrap around your wreath form for a solid base as well. I think you could even cut out a circle(or two glued & layered) of cardboard as a thin frame. 👍👏😃

Can you use Behr wax on top of Annie Sloan chalk paint?
I have not used behr wax but I would imagine it would be fine. I would do a test on a scrap piece of wood and see how you like it. By far Annie Sloan chalk paint is some of the best paint I have ever used.
