This used to be Saturday morning breakfast, wouldn't eat this to save my life. As I grew older this became an all time great meal. I really miss this eating going try to cook this meal.
AWWWWW. A Calf is an Innocent, Baby Cow!!!! I just listened to your post all the thru. Your Kids Know, why they don't like Calf Liver. IT'S BABY COWS!!!! LOL!! Looks good though!!
years ago a friend served liver n onions, but with chicken gravy. kids lick the plate. make extra gravy on chick nite, old bay garlic s&p, do same as you, mashed n green beans....
sierra carr sure thing as soon as I get the bribe to work I gave her some yesterday and told her if she goes potty she can get some more 😂 ...she said ok so we’ll see how that plays out in the morning.🤔.
Its hard to believe how something that can smell so bad can taste so good. I've never learned to cook them myself, so I got the ready cooked kind from the grocery store, and will never do it again. When I was a kid, everybody cooked this and you could tell if somebody had, because they house smelled like it for at least a week. I love chitterlings, just that, everybody don't make it the same. Disregard my account photo, I'm black and just a little on the goofy side.
I know I remember I tried the easy way out and got the already cleaned ones...which by the way were not cleaned and not only that but whatever solution them put them in made it impossible to clean them because you couldn't separate the meat from the waste so they were a total waste of time and money. But you're right you can definitely tell when someone cooks them because the smell gets in everything in the house, my husband and son always so oh no don't cook that in here...lol so usually my mom will clean them at her house and boil them for me and I'll season and cook them at my house.
I see what you are doing and it seems different to me but looks very interesting. I want to show you two videos of mine. Please let me know what you think? #1czcams.com/video/oIErETTLHr0/video.html and a redo/revisited #2 czcams.com/video/I72flisfWy0/video.html

Wow this is so different, never tried them but this looks delicious 😋
You should try them they're really good, I grew up eating them like this, but I'm curious about the ways I've seen them cooked on here.
