Well better late than never lol. Man you got me jealous on the gandalf record. I've been looking for one at a reasonable price for a long long time. I had a chance years ago for around $120, but thought it was too much at the time. How much did you get it for?? I'm also super jealous of that os mutantes debut! Congrats to both of yall for those grails. Os mutantes and gandalf are top 5 wants. My #1 is probably psychedelic moods by the deep.

The Dream Syndicate were one of the four original paisley underground bands. Opal is on my want list. The Jeffery Liberman is a great find. Think Pink is also great. I’m happy with the reissue. Os Mutantes is so good.

Gene Clark is a bargain, been looking for one myself. Liberman original is super rare. The Smoke I found for $2.99 in the bins over 25 years ago, the boys at Zia had no idea. The Sapphire Thinkers were pretty cool. Picked up a decent condition copy back in the 90's for $10! Also have their only 45 too. Managed to catch the Ramones on their U.K. tour back in '77, with Talking Heads. Kendra Smith (D.S./Opal), say no more.

Welcome back duderinos ... ti's wholly cromulant that this should appear from the mists of time at this juncture. Some brahma finds and if you're going to go Twink then you have to go The Deviants and The Pink Fairies (Up Da Pinks). The Fairies "Never Never Land", possibly the greatest ever band T Shirt and an absolute master piece MC5 meets psych, a stoner cold classic and still quite affordable. I've been down the Karisma records rabbit hole exploring contemporary Prog ala Wobbler, Arabs In Aspic, Magic Pie. However, for your aural deliction allow me to suggest Psycada - Hiking Lung, if you groove to Kikagaku Moyo then this is their biker relative from Greece . It's been on heavy rotation at Moontowers and you know that means it's a mellifluous musical melange. Don't be strangers and I'm looking forward to your next video "Top 10 2029" due out next week. .... Remember folks, don't forget to boogie and up da Pinks...

Well, this is the first video I've seen of yours, and when the first thing you do is show an album from my favorite band of all time, I click subscribe. A Deeper Understanding is actually my favorite of theirs, but Lost in the Dream is not far behind. I'll check out some of the other bands you mentioned, sounds like some cool stuff

Good ole rootsy psychedelic rockabilly R&B, which, yet, is still to be bettered. Lovely to see Roky holding onto it there in spite of what looked a bit scary for him here and there. Bless the guy. When will Texas State ever repay for what they did to the poor guy for a few joints worth? Although I don't resent Grateful Dead their gig, I always felt these guys, 13th Floor Elevators, REALLY deserved to be the Electric Cool-Aid Acid Test band (maybe with Janis taking turns back/front with Roky? A direction she had opportunity to take, via invite, but took the smack route). They certainly had a more convincing roots dance sound and didn't fall into the lazy rock blues what-teacher-taught formulas. And kept it seriously good dance music, with good pumping beats and classic eternal grooves. And actually WERE psychedelic (The Dead couldn't jam or write on acid! Yet won the title?)

Funhouse is so off the tracks! Still have the copy I bought in in 1970. So so intense. I hear the repressed version with out takes is wacko. Original 17:28 copy of Os Mutantes!! So out there! I’ve only been able to get repressings. So, so cool! I wish you could see how green I am right now.

Happy Trails is a pretty good album (of course doesnt beat the first album). I ADORE The Smoke - I have never found a copy, so I just have my YT rip. Ptooff! That one I like better than the other Deviants record. Stone Circus (got that one on a YT rip also). Matt's reaction to Os Mutantes is correct.

That duo of Funhouse and Os Mutantes is a bang-up pair of finds. I dig y'all's taste, and everything was cool, but those are some nasty scores.

Hey Gentleman, good to see you both again. Salvation for $6.00 is crazy cheap, as that lp is outstanding. The Smoke is fantastic, I have to brag a bit and let you know that I found my copy for $2.99 years ago. It's a must have IMO. Any album by The Deviants is a no fail. The Stooges Funhouse is just legendary, and you scored a cherry copy right there. Wow! Stone Circus is under rated goodness, Mainstream is a great label. Looks flawless. Os Mutantes is the other gem, it's essential. Kudos men! Keep bringing the heat. Peace.
