I remember when i was in kindergarten there was a fancy dress competition and i became a sunflower.. i had the costume and i was just brought to stand on the stage with the mic. Although i remember almost nothing of it, but my parents told my that i learnt 4 lines i had to speak and learnt them well. But when i stand there i froze. Not a single word came from my mouth. I was just standing blank, life a turned off robot. Its today that i have realized i have extreme anxiety and that is the root cause of almost all of my problems..

I am always so nervous to speak in front of people. Even if my work is good, the way I present in academic settings makes me lose credit.

I wish this video included information about oral citations. In his first speech he didn't include any. His second speech was more of a personal story, but he mentioned people he "interviewed," so should have given names and credentials. It would have been more helpful for speech students to know the other important factors involved in a good speech.
