damn completely missed this comment.. for the doublebass here its tripletdoublebass.. for me tripletdoublebass has a sort of feel that i need to get into which is why i make every 1stkick a bit louder to set the rythme TUkudukudukuTUkudukudukuTUkudukuduku i'd say to first work on getting that feel for triplet double bass with some slower songs like laid to rest by lamb of god! just play along to it practicing your triplet doublebass one thing that also helps is to do just air hits in between every cymbal hit so you can count it with your hands a bit better for the feel! hope i explained it well!
