I only got my tent out last week. And it rained ALL WEEK. Gutted haha
And is it waterproof? Or are you gonna get wet??
@festpod haha ofcourse! Unless you leave it unzippedand hanging on the line upside down 😅
To experience the standard of AEG AXS events and Live Nation FR, which call flushing toilets, more bars and shade a fucking luxury makes me wish AXS promoted DL.
has Leigh decided not to continue on the podcast any longer?
He's giving up on festivals, so yeah. Still great mates, though!
@@festpod thats a shame he isn't doing them, life eh? glad you're keeping in touch
Who’s replacing bad omens?? Ooooo
Funeral for a friend
And they’re not cheap! They’re pre-bookable or you can get one onsite. They have big ones and small ones with USB sockets and 3-pin sockets inside. You’re looking at £41.50 for a large locker. They’re opened with a code which you can choose.
Inretrospect are future arena highlights
Machine head 🤘🤘🤘
Stoked for Bleed Again! 🙌❤
Should be interesting. was expecting some generic Avalanche stage pop nonsense, this stuff is an eclectic mix of rip your face off metal. Looking forward to this, best get my arse in gear and get a ticket.
Congratulations to the final 6
Yes!! Go on Bleed Again! Genuinely nice guys. They're incredible! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
"Chav metal" sent me
Well done to all the winners 🤘
Best of luck everyone!!!
I'm 35... I got into blink maybe when I was 13 or something, seen them live in Sydney a couple months ago and they're a world class act. But Bring Me are killing it at the moment. And limp bizkit rolling - I was in year 6 of primary school and we all locked onto that. But yeah you're right I guess, we grew up alongside them so they don't feel so old to us.
It's a shame the Pie stall isn't there again, pie and mash and gravy was really nice, hopefully it'll be added later, however I'll be happy with the Japanese Big Mouth Gyoza's
Age is irrelevant 🤣🤣🤣
i was in access last year and yeh they did alright but the things that where wrong made it very hard for a lot of people, cold and not working showers people who had been accepted for access been turned away because space ran out the hard path for the main stage viewing platfrom had about a 3 inch gap so getting onto it without assistance was hard, looking forward to see how diffrent this year is
Yeah, hope it’s better this year!
Its what frank wants to do and i think a lot of the fans including myself love it so much. Frank has said he enjoys the acoustic sets more and thats the direction they will continue to move to.
Love volunteering, done it five times. Would love to come on the pod and talk about it more if your interested 😁
Hello Dear Hope you are well. I visited your youtube channel and making videos is very good. Your content idea is very good. Thank you so much❣❣

Thanks again for havin us - big love from me and the CBW lads!! 😍🖤🌊

Jeff's name is Sam, he's their drum tech and occasionally pops onstage to fix this or that. Though he does look like a Jeff I suppose. Since Sleep Token's first ever show was at the Black Heart I assumed having the popup there was a bit of 'look how far we've come' thing, likely. Enjoyed your review! I'll admit I thought getting everyone to sing was a bit at first to get the crowd involved but no, it seemed Vessel really was ill. Big props to him for carrying on.
this is WARGASM czcams.com/video/JD5MK7L0FIU/video.html
dont go to bridlington give all the old biddies a heart attack haha but scarborough is a very odd choice when we never get alt stuff normally status quo ect are the best we normally get
Right! Bridlington is a no-go… ❎
listening to the sleep token section, the person said they have it in a group chat but never actually produced anything, so it hasn't been doxed BUT when i started been a huge fan of them i joined Facebook fan groups ect and have ended up leaving them due to the toxic nature of these so called super fans, i think the mystery of them has naturally sparked some sense of finding them but we should respect fan or not what they are doing, i hope this comment makes sense
Absolutely, why ruin the fun for yourself (never mind everyone else!)
totally agree with what you say, what's the bet next year will see sleep token up there and they are waiting to see how the November tour ticket sales go?
Wouldn’t be surprised, in fact - I bet they’d sell out!
🖤🖤🖤🖤
Go boys, the ride begins....... well after the piss up that is 😅
CHELTMAN!! Can't wait till your next one folks!
I've been to hellfest the last four years. Done download for 8 years and not gone back since going to hellfest. What hellfest has in there favour is that it's privately owned and not a big corporation and they own the land so that's all that land gets used for. Clisson the village gets involved aswell. The supermarket have mini stages on there car park and it's only a 10 minute walk from the festival.
Very excited for this line up 😊
Had they kept it at earlybird prices then it would be "ok" but to me it's not a £350 festival
I agree with Rich, the new Download branding is a bit much, too garish and the lineup does feel cheaper, they should have kept it at this years prices, I like the lineup but to me it's not worth the extra cost over 2023's festival. On the mobile phone debate, I think it's an age thing, went to see the Australian Pink Floyd a few weeks ago and the average age was probably 45ish, there were a fraction of the phones in the air compared to a gig for the younger groups I've been to in the past, personally if there's a phone ban at a gig I wouldn't go because people want to get hold of me and I can't ignore some.
First! Love the content FESTPOD
Glad you enjoy it!
😉
I have a feeling the Violent Inzident were a bunch of session musicians/comedians and the one original band member. I didn't get a chance to say hi as Rich and Neil were busy and Eamon was constantly running past me :D
Ah we didn’t see you! But yes it was a very busy weekend. Hope you had fun!
yeah it was great, hopefully see you there next year@@festpod
😂😂😂😂
LOVE YOU BOYS!! 😍😍😍😍
FCKIN MIGHTY GREAT BUNCH OF LADS!! Love you more 😘🖤🌊 x
I had a fantastic weekend at download yes the traffic was an issue and at times the crowd was an issue but I saw 21 bands over the 4 days.
Amazing! Who were your favourites?
@@festpod definitely Metallica, jinjer, pendulum and probably lorna shore
Seething Akira where the best band there, Mushugga were lame, looked like they were bored being there, Wolfbastard were fun
And thankfully it's the same guy who's been charged at court today. He's had his drone destroyed and quite rightly.
And rightly so!
I also went for the Lamb and Mint pie, very tasty! Mince beef one I had a few days later was burnt black though sadly 😓
Top guys, top band 🤘
P R O M O S M
Great set from them, completely unexpected. Just ended up in the tent as they came on and was a highlight of the weekend.
A lotta love for you guys! Thanks for chatting 🤍🤍
Always! 🥰
