I love the positive focus on the Sacrament and Atonement of Jesus Christ 💙. I hope we can also remember that Christ did more than atone for sin, but just as important, he took upon himself our pains, sicknesses, fear, grief and sorrow---so that He would know how to succor and heal us! ❤

The choice came when he called out to Jesus to save him.

Thank you so much for talking about trusting in the Lord from the perspective of callings. Traditionally, I have trusted in Him as I knew there was no way for me to be effective without Him. Then, my husband received the call to become the bishop of our ward. Certain sacrifices were ok for me. But then I realized there could be a sacrifice of a calling that I love, and that was a tough pill to swallow. I had to really wrestle with that possibility. It seems small, but it was an area of pride I didn't know existed. I'm grateful to have seen it and work with the Lord on letting go of that resentment. I now have, bexause of this podcast, that it's about trusting in the Lord.

Thank you! As a seminary teacher and mother I feel the importance of preparing the youth for the temple, their missions, and their relationship with God. Some have support from parents but not all do. Teaching children and youth about our Savior and the gospel is the most important job I’ve ever been privileged to do.

I am a little late to the party as I am catching up on the discussions. But I wanted to point out the similarity in language between the scripture referenced 1 Nephi 14:14 and the language in D&C 109:22. Nephi is describing the promised blessing in DC 109!

Thank you for this reminder that all of us still have rocks in our soil. I recently was blessed to see some rocks that I hadn't realized were there. I have been praying for the Lord to remove these particular rocks from the soil of my heart.
