Just use the orinal ones, I didn't buy the kit, I just brought the matrix and used all the old parts, screws, pipe clips, cover, etc.

@@seanalessi7976 mines keeps leaking now . I don’t see how the clips do anything when they are below where the pipes connect

@@martymcgrath84 the pipes have a flange on them and where they push into the matrix, that has a flange on it too, the clips go over both flanges to hold the pipes in and lock them in, are the O rings on the pipe OK ? You have to push those pipes in until the 2 flanges meet and then put the clip over to hold them together.

I replaced mine last year been slowly leaking ever since. The clips are awful, not sure if I've done something wrong in the installation but mine leaks every time I stop driving and the system cools down. Permanent puddle in my footwell

Funny, I'm watching this just after I ordered one. I think this is fine for me because I was only planning on using it as a headphone amp for my TV's optical out but I'm surprised it's a downgrade from the X-Fi 5.1 which had Dolby Digital Live and worked well with my older AV receiver.

Pull the bottom hose off the radiator, there will always be a bit left so use a towel in the passenger foot well, or once the fluid has finished coming out, take the cap of the water bottle and blow through it to get as much out as you can.

you're using a sound blasterx g6 with an optical output and you're able to use the windows volume control just fine?

It's a firmware update that's done it, and there's no way to go back.

umm no I didnt, if you read the title and the comments, it says its a TEMP FIX, and its best just to not buy it at all.

I just got this sound card, and I can confirm that you can NOT use headphones simultaneously with the optical/line out. Once you plug in headphones, it diverts the audio to it. The only way to get audio to go back through the optical/line out is to unplug your headphones. I hope that answers your question.

Completely different card, different era, and yes with crappy creative it's always firmware or driver's, they just don't bother fixing it, they release something new instead.

Tell me about it, especially for the price and a premium device, you'd expect much better, I got rid of mine, sent it back to Amazon and got my money back, I brought the creative X3 instead which works the way it should, I don't do any firmware updates or driver updates on it, just incase they break it, there's no way to roll back the firmware.

Its a POS in all honesty, they never fix the problems, they just release something new instead, changted mine for an X3, I always buy these things from Amazon as I can easily return them and get my money back.

What are you on about, it's obviously a problem, I sent it back and brought an sound blaster X3 external sound card instead and that works exactly as it should, just normal for creative to bigger up the firmware or the software and ignore it hoping it goes away.

@@seanalessi7976 Changing volume in the digital domain is a no no my man. I mean I can understand it sucks if it is not what you want, but for me this is a positive not a negative.

@Divine Knowledge not so divine knowledge, obviously a bug when none of the other sound blaster cards behave this way, if your going to comment, make sure you know your stuff first, my sound blaster X3 is hooked up via optical to my AV receiver and is volume adjustable from all sides, and the same for my sound blaster AE5, this one is the only one that behaves this way.

nope, they seem to be ignoring the problem at the moment, could be because of the covid thing though, but for now ive ordered a 3.5mm jack to RCA cable which im going to run from the headphone output on the G6 to my Sony AVR until the issue is fixed.

I wouldnt like to say, im not sure how the air conditioning works really, dont even think it runs via the heater matrix, but sounds more like a coolant leak to me, pressure test the system first and see if you can figure out where the leak is coming from, may be a simple fix.

@@seanalessi7976 It really sounds strange that the heat matrix can influence cooling. This was the test that was carried out, the system was supplemented with nitrogen (since there is no more coolant) and the mechanic says he found the leak and that it is the heat matrix. I do not know what to say. :-D Many thanks

@@seanalessi7976 I called the mechanic to better understand the problem. In fact, the leak is not in the heat matrix, but over it. There is another small radiator hidden above (which makes the air cold) and that is where the leak occurs. What a big problem I had. Many thanks

Yeah alright 14nm intel fanboy who doesn't know any better, you do realize that the next 2 intel CPUs will still be 14nm don't you ? AMD are going to beat intel with the XT CPUs they just released before they bring Ryzen 4000 later this year.

Hahahahah he is right, amd is much better. Intel is gonna make some overheating and overpriced 14nm chips.

i am having an asrock x570 motherboard and a ryzen 3800x on it both are overheating.. the chipset temperature is insane 85 degrees :)

@@bobinchacko5524 you didn't do your homework properly, asrock board is no good, should of gone with gigabyte or MSI, your graphics card is blocking the chipset fan, bad design by ASRock not AMD, that's why it's hot, best board to go for will be the MSI Tomahawk X570 WiFi when it comes out next month.

It's got fixed nearly a year ago with agesa bios updates

@@seanalessi7976 Fixed as in it is now as quick as Intel? Or just quicker than it was? Complaints still seem to be common. What does your 'last BIOS time' say in task manager? On my i3 laptop it's 4 seconds for example.

Nope, it's been fixed as long as you put the latest bios on it

The same problem, no heating, but the water pipes under the bonnet going to the matrix were hot. The cause is lack of coolant changes, dirt in the system, Peugeot's matrix is very very easy to block as it has very thin pipes, I later found out mine was blocked because the previous owner of the car had used rad weld to fix a leak, changing the matrix requires a coolant change and flush, otherwise your new one could get blocked up in a couple of months too.

@@seanalessi7976 Hi, I have tried this just yesterday. Both pipes were "Red Hot". How is it possible both to be hot, and matrix cold if the fluid flows trough it? But then again when i Think of it I had a jammed radiator at my house with same problem :-)

@@srdjanbogunovic2277 The matrix has an outer jacket around it which is allowing the coolant to flow around the matrix and back out, its just not getting through the centre grill parts where the fan blows through to produce heating, if the matrix didnt have this jacket, it would build up enormous amounts of pressure and blow your rubber hoses instead as there is no way of stopping the water pump from pumping, collant is going into the matrix and straight back out again, thats why both pipes are hot, but no heating.

My repairman pointed out to other thing as a "no heat" problem and it considers taking off whole dashboard. :-( I would prefer not to do that and I will try with replacing the matrix myself. Thanks a lot once again, I will report how it went trough! :-)

@@srdjanbogunovic2277 your mechanic obviously thinks the matrix is behind the dashboard, which is where they used to be, and they did used to require removing the whole dash, it used to be a hell of a job to do, I'm not a mechanic, but this job once I found out where the matrix was took me between 20 and 30 mins, just don't forget to drain your coolant first, you will still get some pour out of the matrix when you remove your pipes, just put a thick towel down on the floor before you take the pipes off, they are pretty hard to get off too, and it feels like you are going to break them with how hard you have to pull and wiggle them to get them out of the matrix, but it's an easy job.
