And whenever we go, and im the first one awake in the morning, I just sit on the couch and listen to this. It just makes the vibes 20x better

Now and again you find a music video that's a true masterpiece. Knees deep is one of them. A wonderful concept that you really feel the journey, and come out the other side energised and feel of love and excitement. This makes me want to see The Beths live even more. Hopefully one day in Europe 🙏 Edit: and if I'm are really lucky, a double bill European tour with sløtface. A fan can dream ❤

I found about this song and The Beths from Porter Robinson's cherished playlist. This album is amazing.

Somehow this song rememberd me of prom queen from beach bunnies. But in some moments my brain sings "they say beauty is vain" to this one guitar tune from the beginning

I love the "dream punk" sound. It's like classic song writing structures and emphasis on pop hooks, but with distorted guitars and flights into rock or even punk energy where appropriate. It's a perfect example of somebody having learned the rules so they can creatively break them. Another band with this sound is Eternal Summers, but unfortunately they don't have the mastery songwriting that somebody like Liz has.
