Mine is all but completely worthless. From day one it doesn’t start right and the trimmer head spins nonstop. And if I shut it down once it started, or it shuts itself down because it’s working too hard, it’s fine for the day. Biggest waste of money EVER!!!

A 1991 chainsaw is crazy for running like that even if there is old gas in it and gasn't been ran in a ehile, my dad has a Stihl BG-55 that was made in 2004 and he had it in 2004 before I was even born😮

Thanks. Good to know. just picked up the small one for $50 Cdn. ($36.50 US) at a garage sale. Runs well, small and light. Should do the job. Read there was a recall on some of the smalller ones for a fire hazard.

I have an fs 55r thats 10 years old, been used both for my personal house and commercially and its still going. Ive had to do almost nothing to it to keep it running in 10 years and it still has 150psi compression. Just checked it the other day. I had a 91r but had to return it as my hands could handle the weight. Got carpal tunnel and arthritis in both hands. Currently running a husky 525l

Hey Peter. This video was very helpful. I just bought a used one. But would you mind making a little “tutorial” so to speak on how to operate this? I feel like if I just shut off the engine without letting it “idle in the turtle position” its no good but I’m very new to this stuff and candidly don’t know much. Any help would be great to ensure I use mine well/dont risk breaking the tractor

The 20055 sounds a little rougher or maybe isn’t spinning as fast as the recycler. Do you notice the extra power of the 20055 vs. the other mower?
