Grandma's Story
About the time I was 26 years old I learned that my grandmother lived through world war two under the reign of the Nazis, never before have I heard but a word about that time in her life. In the subsequent months I became more and more intrigued by that particular time in my family’s history by trying to get as much information as possible from my grandmother and her brother, which isn’t mentioned in the movie.
During that time I was finishing my fourth and final year of my degree of graphic design at HIT (Holon Institute of Technology). In which part of the curriculum was a big final project to sum up the four years at HIT, I decided to use that as an excuse of telling my grandmother’s story of the holocaust and to show that the holocaust haven’t only effected the european jews but also jews beyond the borders of europe.
