These two deserved each other, every time I see a photo of Rob and Kev together it makes me feel good inside, and brings a tear to my eyes. I was at the O2 on Sunday night and my wife was pointing out to me where Rob Burrow and his family were when she went to the national telly vision awards and literally within 10 seconds of her showing me I had a news alert on my phone announcing the news of Rob’s passing and people around were getting the same news on their phones , you could hear people saying “ no Rob Burrow died “ you could feel the buzz around us as more and more people were getting the news , not many people would get that kind of response but that’s the impact this man had , he was our Rob Burrow , God bless him .

i think the commentator could have said the word "little" a bit more, just in case we were in any doubt about his size. RIP Rob - little in size, but enormous in talent, determination and class.

There will never be another RL player like Rob Burrow. He was unique. I don't think he knew what the word fear even meant. His small stature was his best weapon. He had amazing pace, a brilliant rugby brain and such a low centre of gravity. If he got a yard from a defending player forget it. There was a try on the cards. Nobody could get near him. And he showed the same incredible bravery in his battle off the field as he did on it. RIP Rob. You were loved and respected not just by the RL community, but by so many people outside of it too. Your legacy will live on and you won't ever be forgotten.

Amazing how many tackles from huge guys he dances through. Quite special. Even when they grab him he flicks them off. Explains a lot about how incredible his fight had been. RIP

i know lots will be viewing this after the sad news on sunday but there was another side of robs game thats worth mentioning he was fearless...in this video there was enough high shots on him that didnt deter him but i remember with joy him being kept at arms lenght by the biggest prop they had as he attempted to fight back after a cheap shot with keith senior laughing like hell at the 10 inch and 6 stone difference between the 2 or the perfect hit on jamie thackery that dumped the 17 stone prop on his arse...there are many other occasions which made him a joy to watch

I am an old man who lives in Leeds. I saw Rob play many times and on almost every time, I came away from the match in total awe at the skill and bravery of this young man, Thank You Rob! My condolences go to his family.

I’m not a big rugby league fan but I’ve watched Rob on more than a few occasions and the only description I could make of him is a magician!! Hope the big man up in the clouds has a special place for him as he was taken from us far to soon 🙏🏻

Although I love rugby union I've not really followed league. Rob has really raised awareness of his sport too. What a fantastic player he was, his speed and skills made him a giant, and of course how he bravely fought MND until the end. Rest in Peace Rob.
