Totally ruined with ad after ad

Do you know by chance if this music theme appeared somewhere else before Rainbow Communications started using it? You mentioned "Radio Communications" in description, but I guess it's just a typo. Also, this was used in The A Team Cassette & Book published by Moonbeam Books (division of Rainbow Comm.), apparently released in 1984.

It's tragic that in the re-release of these books they were forced to eliminate Alfred Hitchcocks name....Robert Arthur and Hitch were great admirers of each other.

36:11 ... the subtitles makes a funny boo-boo. Though, I'm dealing with accent, I'm happily surprised to read it kept-up with the rolling 'R's of the Grand Witch's announcements.

A huge THANK YOU! This is still my favorite book of all times. First read at the age of 6, I am now 70 years old (!) and there is nothing like it. SO comforting during these mad and scary world events and surreal times.

The person who voices Wonka in this audiobook is a very obscure actor called Gordon Fairclough, who only has a few credits to his name. He's been in things like z cars and Coronation Street back in the 60s. Here's a rare episode of z cars that he was in; as soon as you hear his voice, you know immediately that it's the same actor. This audiobook is missing the boat scene; why is there no boat scene?

Haha, this is the audio book edition I had as a child! So pleased to have sourced it on here as my 6 year son has just discovered Roald Dahl and i just adored this dramatisation of the story😀
