I agree with you that it should not be a story, but you have to admit that the media loves to stir the pot. why didn’t we hear them Talk about any of the other many quarterbacks in the league that haven’t been at OTA’s? I definitely think that they were stirring the pot. Even if that particular reporter wasn’t trying to, look at all of the media members that jumped all over it and made it into something. In years past, Tua worked with a local florida based QB coach… this year he worked out at 3DQB in Huntington Beach, CA.. but adding that information wouldn’t have allowed for the controversy and division it caused. So lazy, rushed, intentional, unintentional, agenda-fulfillment, whatever it was.. anyone (Jones or otherwise) who cited/assumed him missing because of contract dispute but NOT because he was working on his game did a poor job.

About as hard as Eli Apple if you want to compare it to the on field actions of any of the players. I’m fairly certain Eli Apple just mailed in his effort at the beginning of the season and his effort never increased a single time for the remainder of the season

1) Just because the past 20 QBS have sucked, it doesnt mean you stick with someone. 2) Tua is not a top 7 QB LOL. If you redrafted the NFL, Tua is not getting ahead of QBs like Dak, Herbert, Goff by most teams. Do you even follow the Dolphins? The cold weather narrative has already been debunked. Tua has played in 1 ONE playoff game so to say that he hasn't played good in a playoff is misleading. You say Tua hasn't beaten teams above .500 but that's also misleading because what about the above .500 teams that he should've beaten but players like Tyreek, Waddle, and Craycraft let him down? Or what about games where the defense let him down. You can't say it's all Tua when it hasn't been and it's really been far from it. As these guys in the video have pointed out, all those receivers that we as Dolphins fans (as well as the media) thought was going to turn into something are all now out of the league.

Giving credit to Tua for playing well at Bama, when he's wooping on SEC garbage teams and Appalachian State, is like having a graduation ceremony for a kindergarten. Tua plays scared. That's why his relase time is so fast. Thats why he plays terrible when he's missing key receivers. That's why he panics. That's why he sucks. He's not a playmaker. He's a play executor.
