Don't delete.... running a Cummins ISF2.8TDI, double breather catch can and good maintenace (clean EGR, cooler and admission once a year) no issues

28 more horsepower is a lot…. I was told by a diesel mechanic that for every one horsepower you gain 5 foot pounds of torque….. 28X5 = 140 foot pounds of extra torque….. that’s a lot we’ll worth the $1800 bucks

I deleted my 14l Detroit 60 series that had a vgt turbo replaced it with a wastegated turbo and I can say I did lose some of my Jake brakes and low rpm boost. I’m thinking of putting the vgt back on is it safe to run a vgt turbo without egr ?? If it’s risky I’ll probably just leave it how it is

He points out liner cavitation or we’d say Cummins worms. Always use PenCool 3000 cooling system treatment in your motor to eliminate this problem and other cooling system issues.

Great vid. Mine cranks but no start. Only starts if I add a little engine start spray. If I remove the rail pressure sensor while it is running, it either dies or keeps running. 2 errors from ecu (p0002 and p0089). Any ideas as I want to avoid unnecessary expenses?

Hey yall i got a 2001 cummins ISM. The oil starts out at 65 psi then drops into the teens after warming up and it drops at the filter head Ive ruled out pump, guage, leaks, injectors, jakes while everything on the valve train looks good. I had a 12 hour diagnostic that ensured the internals had normal ware. I recently had the injectors in cylinder 2 replaced as well as a rocker arm on the same cylinder replaced. I used the truck for two days and had to bring it back to the same shop. The mechanic informed me that there was a wire broken on the number 2 jake assembly. And now insists that it wasnt from the work they did but dosent know whats wrong with it please any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Yes but I found that my 12.7 series 60 Detroit has a faulty air compressor that is causing blow by in my crankcase and it was a false alarm because I thought that my rings were worn. So I got a compression test and my rings were good so my compressor was spitting oil out of the hot line.
